Off road parking, breakfast was ok - could have more fruit

The pool needs maintenance, the rooms are very noise transparent to the corridor and the rooms next door and it’s a long way to the old town

Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We stayed in a duplex family room, which was a great size and looked out onto the pool area. The pool is a nice size with wide steps leading into the pool. Round the pool there were plenty of sun loungers and shade. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves during our stay. Breakfast was a continental breakfast with a good choice of items. There is also plenty of parking. The old town is a beautiful hilltop town and worth a visit, lots of lovely restaurants and is within a 30min stroll from the hotel.

The duplex family room has a steep staircase, which was fine for our grown up ‘kids’, however if you have small children you may want a different style of room. The upstairs part of our bedroom did get pretty warm, we had a fan and air conditioning but we did stay at the end of July with day time temperatures at mid to high 30s.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent service from reception/bar, breakfast, bicycle rental. Rooms were nice, and spacious, decor needs a little updating but everything was clean. It was a walk away from the train and also the castle. Although the hotel helped get us to the train station in the heat of the day. Overall a really pleasant experience for the little time we stayed there.

Not much, just perhaps that the decor was a little dated, but that’s not really a big issue, I guess it just adds to the character!

Great place to stay for equestrian competitions. Everything within walking distance. 7 min to the railway station, 10 min to the old town. Very attentive personnel. Served breakfast at 5.00am for us.

Expected better breakfast with more local specialities. But anyway we enjoyed.

The pool was often a bit murky/not 100% clean and the A/C in the family room was too weak to cool it in the crazy heat
