Huge room, very nicely decorated in a medieval kind of style, cute little kitchen and a smaller sized bathroom. Very centrally located in the city centre, literally out the door and you are there where the places are to eat, drink etc. Our room did have a lovely view on the lake

Very out dated shower, no place to put your shower stuff and not enough shower stuff provided by the hotel. Unfortuantely no balcony to enjoy the beautiful lake view.

Wow what an amazing place. Bang in the middle of town overlooking the lake and the church bell. The owner was very friendly. They also have a farm with restaurant and pool which is only 7 minutes drive away. Owner met us helped with our luggage and sorted us somewhere for free parking. Can't recommend this place enough. Surrounded by restaurants, small bars, and cafes not forgetting the beautiful ice cream cafe.

The MOST amazing stay…let this stunning property take you back in time and enjoy all the antiques, space and comfort of what feels like living in a beautiful museum. With a superb location we spent one night in the 2 bed penthouse apartment with private terrace overlooking the lake. It was breathtaking. Ignore any bad reviews and book because you will not be disappointed. Clean, huge rooms and comfy beds. Lovely host. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The location was just incredible . The building we entered was erected in 800 A.D. It was like living in a museum . The room and living area were perfect . The balcony just magical as you could get a glimpse from the beautiful lake . The little area around was like out of a painting. Nicely located to see the Tuscany and Umbria. The host was super friendly and knowledgeable.

The bed was very uncomfortable.It was like sleeping on a rock . The shower was in the bath top and difficult to use . The internet did not work at all. Also , all the restaurants did not serve dinner before 0730 hrs at night , which is quite late , when you are travelling and have been up since 6 am . But the experience we guess was worth it .

Position, size of rooms, view of the balcony, furniture, murals, ambient. This is a special place. One of a kind.

weak Wi-Fi that doesn’t cover all rooms, but it is normal with such old houses with massive walls. I understand that everything in this property is museum worthy and needs special restoration even for the slightest defect, but some extra attention to wall paint and or cleaning would be nice.

The host was extremely accommodating and welcoming to our family.. The hotel was clean and the rustic vibe of the hotel transports you to another time. Being in the quiet town was a great contrast to tourist heavy cities. The outdoor swimming pool is off-site at their private villa..our kids loved the pool and the atmosphere.

Charming vintage apartment nestled at the base of the palace. Enjoy a terrace with stunning lake views. Ideally located, just steps away from the town’s finest restaurants. A delightful bonus is the nearby stud farm. Highly recommended.

Super centrally located in the historic city centre, spacious, beautiful and clean apartment, well-equipped, terrace with lake view, very friendly staff; great swimming pool at their manor (at 2,5 km from the apartment; best to bring your own pool towels). Restaurant downstairs (called 909) deserves 10 out of 10 score for their meat dishes - absolutely fabulous quality, made with pride!

Beautiful rooms. The roofterrace was great. Central location in a small but wonderful town. Nice staff. Nice pool though a bit far away (car necessary). Restaurant in same house made great food.

Kitchen utensils were few and poor quality. The AC broke down and became noisy but we were compensated for that. Cleaning of floors could be better.
