The hotel is in a fabulous location, secure parking, with a great pool and lots of sun. Rooms are generous, well stocked mini bar and beds are super comfortable and reception staff were very professional. Breakfast was a good selection and lovely sitting on the sunny terrace over the water. Select your room carefully and enjoy the standout location.

Despite a quiet room request the cleaners closet was next door so we enjoyed their company and chatter for most of every day (but we were away from the events space and the noisy surf when the swell is up), the meals and service are a throw back to the 70s (no prices on the ladies menu, which some may love), and our shower was a pool of continuous water and dirty tiles… other rooms would be very different.

The location is perfectly situated 30 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes from the city center of Catania. We traveled all over Sicily for 12 days and spent our last two days at the hotel relaxing. We reserved lounge chairs on the rocks by the sea. It was heavenly. Each seat 15 euros. Well worth the price. Reserve one day in advance with lifeguard on the rocks by chairs. The staff in the hotel were kind and helpful. We ate one dinner in the hotel dining room. It was a little pricey. Tiny portions. The most delicious desserts on the trolley.The pool bar served delicious salads and sandwiches worth the price. The second evening we went to the city of Catania to eat. The beds were extremely comfortable. The pool was huge. We swam laps. I would love to come back to this hotel. The grounds of the hotel were impeccably clean. It was paradise for me and my two children. We didn’t want to leave.

We loved everything. The hotel may be a bit dated. But that adds to the charm. It was down to earth and maintained up to standards. If you are a spoiled character from the White Lotus nothing will ever be good enough. This place is perfect.

We liked everything about the Hotel itself the location, the cleanliness of the whole place inside and out was outstanding. Our rooms were good even though one had a Seaview from an acute angle and no balcony

In the first few days of our stay the the pool bar staff and the breakfast room staff were attentive, polite expert in their jobs, but then there was a staff changeover and the attitude and experience changed! Pool bar staff didn't know how to serve a Bacardi and coke or charge the correct prices in a courteous manner. The breakfast room staff seemed to be non-existent as was the replenishing of the various food items available, we asked for coffee to be served at the table as on previous day and we were told to make our own coffee at the machine! Without a car, taxi or a long walk the location of the hotel for dining out in the evening is remote, with no nearby restaurants

The location of the hotel is spectacular. The pool is stunning and being able to access the sea so easily aswell is a huge bonus. The bar is lovely and a wonderful place to sit and look at the view. Also nice than you can get simple salads there, if you don’t feel like a full blown meal in the restaurent.

There was only a very basic bottle of shampoo/shower gel provided in the room. No conditioner and no body lotion which I would have expected in a hotel of this level. The restaurant food was all very rich with no simpler options.

The facility is really good, you have everything you need for a great vacation. The reception staff were really helpful and kind. The pool bar is great and the breakfast also.

All the restaurant staff, especially in the evening, were very rude towards the guests who are not Italians. You can feel the difference in their attitude, and it was very frustrating. We even avoided eating there because of that. Also, the evening menu is not good. Too little options are too specific.

The hotel is beautiful, old world charm. The colleagues are very friendly and helpful, I'm very impressed with that.

Food is really poor. Breakfast is repetitive, the food at the pool bar is tasteless, and made almost entirely from the breakfast ingredients. We tried dinner, it was extremely disappointing. We have eaten at other places across Catania, the hotel restaurant serves some of the worst tasting, lazily prepared food I've ever eaten in a hotel.

The hotel’s location, overlooking the sea, is perfect! The staff are very helpful, cheerful and efficient. There is a very extensive choice of cold breakfast fruits, meats,pastries and breads. The room, a suite, has a pool and sea view, a large bedroom & sitting room. In the bathroom are twin basins and a large walk-in shower. There are only three floors in the hotel and sufficient on-site parking.

Nothing - all good!

We went mid September and had a lovely time at the hotel. I guess the time of year meant it was relatively quiet but it was still glorious weather. Both pool and sea are really warm. The sea is crystal clear and full of a fabulous variety of fish right next to the rocks - take a snorkel! The pool is bigger than it appears in the photos, maybe 20m x 7 or 8. Dinner is pretty good but don't get put off by the menu as they always had an array of different options the waiters could offer. We had a sea view room which was very clean and comfortable. The bed was massive. Parking was free and secure. Would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was a buffet and there were plenty of options but the quality wasn't great. All perfectly edible, we'd just had much better earlier in our trip. Drinks prices in the bar are more expensive than outside of the hotel but comparable to the UK.

We chose this accommodation as we wanted a quiet location convenient to the airport on our last night in Sicily. The pool area and pool bar provided a beautiful and relaxing setting . Did not partake in the breakfast but ate at a very good restaurant on the water a short walk away. Clean and comfortable and spacious rooms but the décor is a bit dated. Parking lot was free but is actually a short walk from accommodation.
