Nice hotel in Catania with a fabulous pool located on the coastal road about 40 mins walk from the city. Old style hotel but very clean with a fantastic cleaning service everyday.great buffet breakfast in the morning time. Staff here were the nicest and very welcoming. We had a great view of the pool and sea. Nice balcony.

I didn't like the sea entrance. Very small area and nothing going on there. No bar set up or music. Also we were told it would cost 40 euro for two. even though we were staying for nearly two weeks.. lido available next to this area is only 30 euro for two people, so not consumer friendly to residents.bar staff at the pool sometimes weren't available. Good restaurants nearby but not enough for a long stay.

Anna, Rosario and the team in the breakfast room, Latifa, Siria and the manager in reception and the two Lifeguards all made our stay very pleasant. Our room was cleaned daily and we had plenty of towels and toiletries. We loved the beach club and it along with the wonderful staff were the reasons we returned for a third time.

There was a charge for using the beach club of €15 per person per day, which we were not aware of until we were checking out. We were aware of the €3 per towel per day fee. When we stayed previously none of these charges existed. The prices for the poolside bar have increased greatly and are way out of line with the surrounding bars and restaurants. Hotel Nettuno could be more environmentally friendly by using separate bins for recycling and general rubbish. The city of Catania has become very dirty with rubbish everywhere along the Lungomare.

The Seaview from the room was lovely, especially on sun rise. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food. Whilst the hotel was a little out of the city centre, it was in a good location for bars and restaurants, and right on the sea front. The driver who took me to the airport was very friendly.

I was so disappointed to arrive just after 6pm to find the pool closed and would not re-open until 0900 the next day. As I was leaving for the airport at 0830, this was no use to me. The reason I chose this hotel, was for the pool. I feel strongly that pool opening hours should be displayed with hotel information. I was also very surprised to see the hotel charges 3 euros a day for a pool towel - I've never seen this at a hotel before! There was air conditioning in my room, but wow, it was so noisy, like a cronky old tractor driving down the street. Whilst this is advertised as a 4 star hotel, it felt very tired, dated/old fashioned with fixtures and furnishings seeming somewhat worn out.

I like the staff in reception,in the breakfast area expecialy ANNA she was to kind and helpful and she brought me turkey sausage every day, because I don't eat pork.I never has meet such an exelent women🥰 and the receptionists and the barman in the swimming pool they were very kind and helpful and also The cleaners were kind and the room was cleaned every day

The hotel building is very old and has not been renovated since its completion.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was good with adequate choice. All was ok with the room except the shower cubicle which was extremely small. No space to manouvre in it. But all told it is a good hotel which one can tell they are trying to keep going in spite of the the fact that it now needs refurbishing.

Really nice pool, about 25m long and 10m wide and goes from 1m to 3m in depth. There was a bidet and they change your towels daily. Nice breakfast from 7-9am

Pretty dated rooms but comfortable and clean. Have to pay for the sea side seating area and you have to pay for beach towels. Wished breakfast was on for a bit longer though.

Good location on seafront. Great feel to the hotel. Lovely, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Large comfortable room. Good swimming pool, when open. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity.

Need to check if swimming pool and beach club are open before booking. Road outside is very busy and building work and funfair next door, but not too much of a problem for us.

Very nice hotel old style, but clean and attractive very nice staff some spoken English and they were very courteous. Nice breakfast.

It was right on the beach and I really liked it. Some people might want to be closer to town because it cost €20 to get into town unless you get a bus but I was fine with it.

Great hotel, staff, breakfast and facilities. Amazing pool and location with parking possibilities. We come here every year for one or more days.

The location is great, very nice sized swimming Pool, access to the sea with sunbeds available (extra cost) and a safe handy car park provided, which is so hard to find, on the whole island of Sicily.

Well the decor bathroom A/C are a bit outdated but perfectly fine didn't bother us much and it is reflected in the price so no issue!
