A flat in an apartment building converted into rental accommodation. I think in total there are 3 flats together with a shared kitchen and a separate dining room. The owners prepared a small breakfast, which was very nice and welcomed.

Property descriptions suggested there is parking, which is not the case. Parking is possible, but most of the nearby streets are subject to paid parking as is a nearby car park (referenced as private parking). So if you are coming with a car, parking could be difficult and expensive.

The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The owners' family were exceptionally kind and helpful. The location was also good - it was convenient and close to everything I needed.

We stayed one night because we arrived in Catania with a late flight before moving on. The owner arranged transport for us around 1 am cheaper than uber which was great. Theres a small kitchen and some coffee in the morning.

Bed was not extremely comfortable.

Nice place, clean. The family who owns the apartment is very nice, all of them are very friendly. We interacted most with Bernardo and Sergio who were very kind and helpful.

The problem we had was that it was pretty cold in the room during the night. Also the window doesn't isolate at all (not cold, nor noise). Sometimes it was hard to sleep because of the street noise

Very large and clean space. Good location and breakfast served was also nice. Tea and coffee for free, as well as a stove to cook.

Very hospitality, Bernardo was very kind and help us with everything. The door can be open automatically by code, so it was very comfortable, because we didn't know exactly our arriving time. The room was nice, with big double bed. The neighborhood is quite and calm. 15 min by walk to the city center. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and there is an elevator.

The bathroom was private, but out of the room through the mutual hallway

Host was very helpful and nice, check in was really easy, communication was also really good and fast. I would recommend for a nice weekend to visit the city.

The bathtub could be cleaner, but in general everything else was clean.

Bernardo and his sister were absolutely friendly, helpful and uncomplicated in communication. The place is clean, has everything needed and is well located.

If you prefer to park not privately it’s really tough to find a place to park - which is normal in bigger cities. Be prepared to do a few tours around the block. The sister was so kind and gave us her place where she parked the first day.

It's been perfect one night stay! Owner is going above and beyond! Bravo!!! 👏
