Amazing location, 5 min walk to the beach, shopping and cafès is just around the corner and 20 min walk from the city center. The room (Borgo) was so comfy and I enjoyed the terrace with ocean view A LOT! Very nice staff, the owner was very kind and welcoming. I asked for a late check out due to my flight schedule and this was no problem. All facilities worked as expected. All in all, I had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this place! I will come back for sure!

What a treat this place was. Firstly, the outside doesn't do the inside any justice. It's very spacious, the atmosphere has a cosy, cabin in the woods type of feel, with wood beams and features, and also tastefully exposed brick work which gives it a warm and lovely homely feel. There's a mezzanine that overlooks the main room with two extra beds, so small families can holiday here. As a solo traveller I felt very happy to take the double bed all to myself, which was very comfy. Noise was fine, though you could hear a little of the passing traffic. Cleverly the landlords have installed a double glazed doorway to the balcony that minimises any loudness from the street below. With the shutters over the windows it was nice and dark at night time, just the way I like it. Air conditioning was great. The breakfast was stocked daily with yogurt, cornetti and juice. You even had a bottle of water in the fridge each day. Very handy when you forget to buy your own. Bathroom was good, too. A hairdryer if you need it. Honestly, I stayed at 4 different locations during my stay in Catania and this was by far the best. Check-in was easy and Pina was on-hand every step of the way to guide me through my last minute booking and induction (for want of a better phrase). Lastly, depending on your location preference it's great if you want to be near the ocean (LungoMare) but a little more effort to get to the city centre. In which case a 10 min walk to Galatea Metro will remedy that. This place is staying on my list of favourites.

Walls were a little thin and you could hear conversations from other rooms. But it was ok as no one was deliberately noisy at night.

Close to the nice beach and seaside Sea view and a terrace Tea/coffee as much as you want The delicious pizza downstairs ;)

Sometimes the neighbors didn't respect the rules of the house and were really loud till 12-1 at nights...

i wish we wouldve had some sort of kitchen appliances even in the hall, we only had a microwave and the shower didnt drain properly

Very good for the price, close to the city centre, and a terrace is a bonus.
