The location is great, within the walking distance to the main attractions (via Etnea). The apartment is located in a typical house, with high ceilings. The room was very clean, the bed was absolutely comfortable. It is equipped with all necessary things. At night you can have really dark in the room which is comfortable for sleeping. It is a good place if you are looking for some woking space as well as to spend you vacation days. The host, Gabrielle, was superb. He provided me with all necessary and detailed information so that I could check in automatically and check out as well. The system was very easy and simple. He asked regularly if everything was ok, so you could feel really taken care of during your stay. The kitchen is also well equipped, coffee machine, microwave etc. The breakfast is a typical Sicilian/Italian one - rather sweet options - toast, jam, croissant, cookies, a wide variety of tea and coffee and joghurts. There was also no problem to store some food in the fridge.

Catania is quite a noisy city in general, so if it disturbs you, it is a good idea to bring earplugs with you. They do the job! My room was oriented to a side street, so it was ok.

Perfect place for our vacation in Catania. Gabriele was a wonderful host. Super nice and responsive. He was available at all time. The apartment was nicely decorated, extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The private balcony was an extra for the morning cappuccino. The center of Catania is a short walking distance. The room was nice and clean, there is everything that you need for a short stay. Gabriel was helpful for any additional information that i needed. Location is excellent if you want to stay close to the train and bus station, otherwise is located 30min. walking to the main attractions in Catania.

You have to be aware that you need to send a photo of you ID before you come to the B&B. If not you won't be able to stay there. There is a lot of communication with the owner. Breakfast is self served, there is food from the store (for example packed croissants and bread from the store). There is no fruit or vegetables for breakfast.

The room was pleasant, and it was equipped with all basic necessities I would need during the stay. Very good internet bandwith, the host is reactive and welcoming. The hotel has close proximity to the variety of popular points of interest in Catania.

Perhaps, inclusion of hot meal meals for breakfast would be an excellent addition to the service, which would cement the position of Casa Carola as one of the best price to quality value B&Bs in Catania.

In the nice kitchen there was everything needed for breakfast. I mostly had my breakfast (coffee and a cigarette) on the adjacent cosy terras, also great for drinking a good glass of whine or a beer in the evening. Location of the B&B is great, on walking distance from everywhere you need or want to go. Owner Gabriele cleaned up my room and bathroom everyday. With a smile.

Amazing B&B, super clean and comfy! the rooms are big and of high standard, the hole B&B is nicely decorated. I felt at home from the first moment. And the host ist super friendly, thanks, see you again!

The soundproofing is low, you can hear the neighbours. But that's normal in Italy, gives even the feeling to be a family with the other guests, so it's part of the journey. I kind of liked it :)

The Owner is very helpful, communicative The access to the house is done by a link sent by the owner, so you need to have active internet on your phone to get in The B&B is actually an old house with 4 rooms and a shared kitchen.. the other guests were very silent and we were not disturbed by anyone The room is nice, renovated with everything you need and very clean Good Wifi Relatively close to the railway station

Renovation works at the building facade happening, therefore the window view is kind of blocked Breakfast incuded- is actually help yourself with packaged croissant or other pastry etc from the kitchen - but for us it was ok

The location was fantastic- very safe, close to main tourist street and just 20 min walk from central attractions, park, fish market and 5 min walk for a side street with many bars and restaurants. We booked two rooms, the room 4 has direct entrance to big terrase and we had extra big bathroom with shower + jaccuzi bath. Common kitchen place has all the needed and there is a frigerator to keep the own groceries. Owner Gabriele was daily in touch with us, even just for curiousity how are we doing in the city and answered all the questions in a minute time. Most friendly and caring host we have ever had whilst staying at b&b's.

The facade of the house is being renovated and smaller room with wiev to street was darker due to renovation works. It dis not disturb the stay much however.

The location is actually great, but you need to know where to go. We were lucky to stumble upon a street filled with restaurants and bars nearby and a huge market as well. The property is 4 rooms, a small terrasse and a kitchen with 3 small tables. The rooms (we had 3 of them) are all spacious, clean, and very nice. The beds are good and the bathrooms are beautiful. Everything is nicely decorated. If you can, book apartment 4 - it has direct access to the terrasse.

The breakfast is not like we imagined. Nothing is fresh, everything is wrapped in plastic so be prepared for that.

The whole apartment was really cute. We really liked the high ceilings. The apartment was generally really modern and clean. The AC was also very convenient.

Depending on the room you’re in, the WiFi connection might be quite bad.
