The staff was so nice and helpfull, they did not speak english fluently but they tried to communicate. :) Breakfasts were okay: croissants, toasted bread, salami, cheese, cakes and many different things to choose :) You can drink juice, water, tea or coffee. Basic breakfasts but really tasty : ) Rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. The hotel is places close to the city centre, 10mins to Via Etnea, and 2mins to bus centre which is really goos if you want to travel around the East Sicily.

There is a one thing which we didnt like when it comes to this hotel… the area around this property :( it is located on a very dirty and scary street :( so if you want to check the night life in Catania choose something different, cause you will not feel safe while going back to hotel.

We had a great stay at La Ville Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. Mario and Malena were exceptional hosts, and we felt at home. The location was very good - an easy walk to the city center and conveniently close to the bus terminal for exploring other parts of Sicily, as well close to the bus stop to/from the airport. Our room was quiet and clean, and we especially loved the high ceilings. Breakfast was adequate. We highly recommend Hotel La Ville, and hopefully, we will soon return!

Location for us was great as we were going to catch a bus to Palermo, just a 5 minute walk to the terminal. With our late arrival, reception was waiting at midnight to receive us and the kind gentleman also helped us lug our luggage up to the 2nd floor because the elevator was not working, awaiting repair. Room was spacious, rustic, comfortable and adequate for our needs. Our transport was not till the afternoon; the hotel stored our luggage at no cost, and we used their large lounge sitting area that had very comfortable sofas, reading material and a large tv.. Breakfast was much more than simple and very satisfying. Day staff were very courteous and eager to help make us comfortable (as well as giving directions to the bus terminal).... like Natia, with an affable personality and ready smile. We enjoyed our stay.

Nothing really. Although location was great for us, it's a "longer walk" to the tourist attractions and restaurants. There were a few cafeterias very close by, but they were closing by early evening.

Clean, high ceilings, big windows, big balcony wrapping around the corner, big bathroom, tile floors, lots of cupboard space, friendly staff, cold fridge, free wifi, wooden furniture, quiet, breakfast included in the room price. The front door is locked and you get a key so that you can come and go as you wish. There's a grocery store 5 min walk away. 20 min walk from the Elephant fountain. Close to the train and bus station.

Notes to help future visitors: the showerhead pole was detached from the wall at the bottom so I hand-held the shower hose (not a problem though). There was a 'kitchen' in the suite but the stove and sink were sealed off so it was really just a bunch of cabinets. The room felt a bit dated but that wasn't a big deal - and I feel that was the style, it shouldn't be modernized. The day cover on the bed was also the duvet, separated by a sheet. The TV on the writing desk took space (better if it was mounted on the wall). Bring your own shampoo & conditioner if you're staying more than one night. Only the man on the night shift spoke some English - otherwise have your Google Translate at hand :-) The surrounding streets seemed a little rough, so I didn't walk by myself at night.

We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend.From 10th to 13th of May . Very clean and comfortable. Good value of money.The hotel is located 10/15 min from the center and few min walk from bus and train stations.The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had good choices and fresh. Thank you very much to Salvatore, who took us to a day trip to Bar Viteli,Savoca . It was my partner'birthday on that day and we had very nice trip around . Very helpful staff, good breakfast, very clean. It was an easy walk to the historical district and train station. The hotel is on a nice side street but Via Archmedes is rundown, that said, we never felt unsafe, day or night, lots of restaurants. A great location.

Hotel with exceptional Host personality deserved 10 star. Mario assisted us throughout the check in procedure, at first the hotel room aircond was not working, he tried all his best to find the solutions for us. At night, we had conversation to get to know Mario, he explained to me how Sicilian living in catania, how proud he is to be part of the sicilian culture, also he helped us booked taxi to the airport smoothly

Very clean and spacious rooms, we really enjoyed the breakfast served every morning. The hotel has a very nice vibe to it, and the stuff is so friendly! They helped us with any request we might have had with a smile, so much appreciated!

The location is in a rather rundown part of the city, however it is very close to the bus and train station which is really convenient if you move around with a backpack!
