The hotel had easy access to airport and was able to arrange transfer at a time after mid-night from a late flight. The staff provided easy directions to bus to airport for car pick-up and then had onsite parking that was secured and monitored.

I chose this B&B as it's just a very short walk from the train station and we were travelling to Taormina the next morning. It's perfectly located in that respect. The only negative is that it's on a busy road so there is some traffic noise but nothing that kept us awake. A lovely, quirky hotel! The room was wonderfully decorated in an antique style and very large. We didn't have much time at the hotel as we arrived quite late in the evening but we did have a wander about and could see some very interesting little seating areas. It has a lovely courtyard, unfortunately too wet for us to use for breakfast this time but we could admire it from inside the dining area. Great location if you need to be near the station, and lovely staff.

We had a large double room with two balconies, with an open view towards the sea. The room was decorated in a “Belle Epoque” style including a painted ceiling with cherubs. The room was very comfortable, with a large bathroom and good shower with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed the sunny courtyard garden as a place to take breakfast. The breakfast included the typical fare, plus scrambled and boiled eggs - it was basic but more than sufficient. The hotel is close to the central station and about a 15 minute walk to the main Catania sites such as the Duomo , fish market and many restaurant choices. The hotel looked a little scruffy from outside, but the interior decor was fine and in good order. The reception “capo”, Francesco, was very helpful and engaging, and the other staff pleasant. Would be happy to stay again - we thought it good value for money.

It was my second time here and I would repeat again. I love the classical decoration, the breakfast garden... Helpful staff, comfortable beds, and good location. In Italy, the area around the train station is not very nice, but I think that in Catania is not unsafer than the rest of the city center. There is a private garage for customers, just park your car by the hotel door (on the sidewalk, the Sicilian way) and ask inside.

Breakfast was fine but not outstanding.

Location is perfect, breakfast item was not the best but it will do, the room was tiny but comfortable enough for 1 person. The bed needs some upgrade, I did not have a comfortable blanket but had to actually use the bed cover. The one thing I really liked were the access to the patio outside the room and by the dining area. That's awesome and very cozy and private. There were enough seats available.

Hmmm not sure if management is trying to keep an old-style hotel but it needs upgrade. The hallway was sooo dark, the lights were not on all the time. I was there for 3 nights and each time I return to the hotel my key did not work which was annoying, I had to go back to the front desk at least 2 times a day.

Comfortable, clean room with good aircon opening onto a lovely green courtyard decorated with mosaics and hanging plants. Delicious breakfast with a variety of hot and cold, savoury and sweet options. Excellent coffee. The lift was appreciated, so much easier than taking suitcases up and down stairs. We swam in the sea at the Lido which is across the road near the train station. 3 euros per person if you want to swim only. It was fantastic to be able to have a swim in the very hot weather, very close to the hotel.

Good location, good breakfast, nice arrangement in the hotel. All the people from the reception were very kindly. My flight was cancelled because of the eruption of Etna, and the company WizzAir reported our flight with a delay of.... 5 days! In these special conditions, Francesco and Virginia were our super hosts, all the time ready to help and to answer to all our questions and warnings. Hugs for them!

I didn' t like some mosquitos

Excellent location - just opposite the train station. Helpful and cheerful staff, who gave us recommendations and kept our luggage after check-out. The room was cleaned and our towels changed daily. The buffet breakfast was rich and tasty, the coffee was great. Bonus - there are beautiful garden patios left unlocked all the time and filled with ceramics, flowers and greenery!

Was greeted by Giuseppe at the front desk . He was very welcoming and continued to be very helpful throughout my 5 night stay . My double room with balcony was large and had adequate space for all my things. The bathroom was large and shower had plenty of hot water and great pressure. The inner courtyard was beautiful . Breakfast was ok , eggs were always cold. The location was perfect for traveling by train or bus . Historic center was an easy walk away. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Room was comfortable with adequate amenities for an old establishment. The breakfast was very nice with good cappuccino, fresh fruits etc and taken on an internal courtyard. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The location was disappointing because the surrounding streets were trashed out and the sidewalks uneven with potholes. Limited food outlets around. Street parking somewhat available but narrow streets made it difficult so your car would perch half on the tiny sidewalk. Neighborhood had a dingy feeling.
