Ideal location for Catania Central Railway station - under 5 min walk. Also just along from Bus terminal. Under 20 min walk to city centre with a few landmarks on way if you want a casual saunter. Rooms comfortable - air con spot on - ours had a little balcony so made it feel roomier. Good shower and cannot fault room at all. Nice break fast well served in first floor open courtyard . Brilliant touch and quite unique. All staff lovely.

Not hotels fault and to be fair did not cause any issues at all but surrounding area quite graffiti strewn which gives off wrong external vibe .seems to be a common trait in Catania. Need to get Banksy in for area makeovers! training courses for the spray painters to up their game. Make it an urban feature with maybe reward system and contain it to certain approved paint zones

The exterior of the hotel hides a gem! The hotel is located across the street from the train and bus stations. It was convenient to day trip from, and also perfect for us to catch our overnight train. The front desk manager, Francesco, was incredibly kind and helpful. When we arrived, he held our bags while we returned the car to the airport, and the following day, he held them until our train left at 10:00 PM. Both Franesco and Noor were extremely gracious, allowing us to sit in the library and the courtyard while we waited for our train's departure time. The room was large and immaculately clean. The air conditioning was nice and cool, and the bathroom was quite spacious. Breakfast was served in the courtyard, which was like a secret garden in the heart of the hotel. (Breakfast had a plentiful variety of foods to choose from.) The hotel decor was elegant and fun, and completely unexpected. It was like staying in a hidden mansion inside the city.

Nothing! I would highly recommend staying there.

I chose this B&B as it's just a very short walk from the train station and we were travelling to Taormina the next morning. It's perfectly located in that respect. The only negative is that it's on a busy road so there is some traffic noise but nothing that kept us awake. A lovely, quirky hotel! The room was wonderfully decorated in an antique style and very large. We didn't have much time at the hotel as we arrived quite late in the evening but we did have a wander about and could see some very interesting little seating areas. It has a lovely courtyard, unfortunately too wet for us to use for breakfast this time but we could admire it from inside the dining area. Great location if you need to be near the station, and lovely staff.

The hotel had easy access to airport and was able to arrange transfer at a time after mid-night from a late flight. The staff provided easy directions to bus to airport for car pick-up and then had onsite parking that was secured and monitored.

The room was very spacious and quite. The hotel was very close to the main bus and train station with easy access to city buses, too. The staff was very polite and eager to help at all times. The room was quiet and the blinds did a very good job.

The location, although close to bus and train station, was also around streets that did not feel safe at all. The breakfast was okay, the basic options and coffee available but would have preferred to see the food being covered before serving.

We had a large double room with two balconies, with an open view towards the sea. The room was decorated in a “Belle Epoque” style including a painted ceiling with cherubs. The room was very comfortable, with a large bathroom and good shower with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed the sunny courtyard garden as a place to take breakfast. The breakfast included the typical fare, plus scrambled and boiled eggs - it was basic but more than sufficient. The hotel is close to the central station and about a 15 minute walk to the main Catania sites such as the Duomo , fish market and many restaurant choices. The hotel looked a little scruffy from outside, but the interior decor was fine and in good order. The reception “capo”, Francesco, was very helpful and engaging, and the other staff pleasant. Would be happy to stay again - we thought it good value for money.

The courtyard for breakfast; peaceful and so pretty. My large room. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating! Small variety store just as you leave the hotel to the left where you can pick up water and other necessities. Catania bus/train station right across the street. The markets were approximately a 10 minute walk away with the square, approximately a 20 minute walk. If you enjoy walking, it’s a great walk.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The internal accommodation was traditional and classic with an excellent area for breakfast. Very close to the rail station, it is perfect for visiting travelling on to other destinations, which suited us. A reasonable 10 min walk to the Duomo where the centre of vulture starts.

The external surroundings are rather run down. However, this did not take anything away from the hotel.

It was my second time here and I would repeat again. I love the classical decoration, the breakfast garden... Helpful staff, comfortable beds, and good location. In Italy, the area around the train station is not very nice, but I think that in Catania is not unsafer than the rest of the city center. There is a private garage for customers, just park your car by the hotel door (on the sidewalk, the Sicilian way) and ask inside.

I had a really good interaction with the front desk—they were very helpful and gave me great recommendations to make the most of my stay. The place itself is very special, with a beautiful traditional look, and the courtyards were so relaxing to spend time in. The breakfast was great, and the staff were lovely, making me coffee every day, which was a wonderful touch. Overall, a memorable and enjoyable stay!
