Very well designed pod. Small but everything one needs is there. Hubby especially liked the shower. Very Good lighting. Very comfortable bed. Two Elevators. Good price. Restaurants not far and street parking available Host was very friendly and helpful.

Would like a full length mirror in room. Better breakfast food would be nice. Add two more pillows for reading and watching tv. Despite paying for parking till 9 pm when we left at 6 am to airport., there was a parking fine on our car. Seems unfair and we are not sure how to contest this fine or pay it.

The room was cozy, the bed comfy as we slept well. The host and her partner were super kind and friendly, ready to help and always checking on us. The cleaner was also friendly and eager to help when we needed it.

Not the host fault of course - and nothing she could do about - but unfortunately we struggled with fitting our kid stroller in the elevators because they had very narrow doors.

Very convenient to train station and downtown tourist area (in between, about 10 min walk to each). Coffee maker, tea kettle, juices welcome. Comfortable space with small deck for enjoying the scenery (largely city scape, but also a side view of the harbor). Very clean apartment; even had a small fridge.

Fairly minor criticisms: Bed comfortable except for pillows (too hard). And shower was good except could not switch between overhead and side hand-held function (only overhead works).

Lovely, modern refit in an older building. The room is very stylish with good lighting and a nice balcony view. Has a bidet too, which is always in the plus column. Free pastries for breakfast every morning.

You can kind of hear through the walls as people walk by. The location wasn't the best, except for its proximity to the train station. Not too too far from the attractions in Catania. All in all, this one is clearly a labor of love, so I don't want to dock it too many points. It was an enjoyable stay. :)

It was very smart modern apartment with everything you needed. We were let in early which was helpful. As we walked up to it, it looked as though we were in an office block, when we got to the allocated floor it was clear they were new well thought out apartments. Easy to catch a bus to the airport

It was ideal for what we wanted

The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the main sights and the railway and bus stations. The room was recently refurbished (along, I guess, with the whole hotel). It was clean, well-appointed and comfortable, with an ensuite bathroom.

Notes suggested that breakfast was available to order, but it was not clear how to access this. However, this was not an issue, with a very serviceable coffee bar more or less next door.

The facilities are beautiful and located in a great place. Antonella made our stay excellent. She gave us recommendations on anything we wanted and was overall super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Very good location, close to the city center. Close to the central station by both bus and train. Staff very friendly and helpful. You can communicate in English without any problems. Apartment cleaned daily. We will definitely come back!

I liked everything about this GEM in Catania: value, prime location to so many attractions and shopping areas, best panoramic views of the city (especially at night), comfort, quietness, and safety. The best part was the free breakfast. It was wonderful that I can walk out of the room and right into a pastry shop filled with delicious pastries, gelatin, and coffee within a couple of minutes. The breakfast was so good and the conversations with the locals at this place were priceless.

Our stay at Oblo was the best, the room was perfect, the host sooo nice and helpful, we had some breakfast goodies on the house. Clean and comfortable! Located close to the Piazza del Duomo, the Fish Market and to some restaurants.
