We stayed at B&B Oblò as two couples and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the start. We had two separate rooms, both of which were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and it was clear the host puts great care into making guests feel comfortable. The location is excellent—easy to get around, but still quiet and relaxing in the evenings. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail throughout our stay. Highly recommended for couples, families, or friends traveling together. We’d happily return!

From start to finish, this was an exceptional stay. The host let us bring our suitcases 7 hours before check in. The room was very clean and with new finishings. We had a wonderful terrace we used a couple times a day for breakfast and evening sunset. The bed was comfortable and the A/C was very efficient and quiet. We looked forward to the in room breakfast, with a great cappuccino maker and tasty Italian breakfast pastries. The location was great in a safe neighborhood, with neighborhood pasticerria and wine bar. Also, the train station is five minutes away and the center of town is a 10-12 minute walk. We highly recommend this B&B and hope to return.

Room was modern and well decorated with all mod cons. There was a kettle and a pod coffee machine and a small fridge. Also, a balcony with a partial sea view and a very good Air Con unit. The room was made was serviced daily. The room is conveniently located quite near to the train and bus station, and not too far from the historic centre of Catania. Antonella was a good, helpful host. She pointed out where to go and what to see and gave us some suggestions for restaurants etc.

We were disappointed with the 'breakfast' offering, it was a tiny basket with a few uninteresting items. It didn't detract us from enjoying our stay though. The bathroom was modern and well equipped, however, the shower was the overhead fixed type which made it difficult to rinse off soap. Also, the shower floor was very slippery - we used a bathmat to stand on.

Very nice facilities and a very nice room with a Dolce Gusto machine and some snacks and water. The host was very nice and welcoming, guided us for Catania itself. The room was really cozy, had a nice balcony, nice bathroom and room in general. Was able to find free parking nearby + only a stroll away from the main streets.

The entrance and elevator to the BNB was a little bit old/shady, but once at the BNB, everything was nice. You could hear some noises from the hallway when other guests walked past, but luckily only 4 rooms in total, so not a big issue at all

Very well designed pod. Small but everything one needs is there. Hubby especially liked the shower. Very Good lighting. Very comfortable bed. Two Elevators. Good price. Restaurants not far and street parking available Host was very friendly and helpful.

Would like a full length mirror in room. Better breakfast food would be nice. Add two more pillows for reading and watching tv. Despite paying for parking till 9 pm when we left at 6 am to airport., there was a parking fine on our car. Seems unfair and we are not sure how to contest this fine or pay it.

The room was cozy, the bed comfy as we slept well. The host and her partner were super kind and friendly, ready to help and always checking on us. The cleaner was also friendly and eager to help when we needed it.

Not the host fault of course - and nothing she could do about - but unfortunately we struggled with fitting our kid stroller in the elevators because they had very narrow doors.

Very convenient to train station and downtown tourist area (in between, about 10 min walk to each). Coffee maker, tea kettle, juices welcome. Comfortable space with small deck for enjoying the scenery (largely city scape, but also a side view of the harbor). Very clean apartment; even had a small fridge.

Fairly minor criticisms: Bed comfortable except for pillows (too hard). And shower was good except could not switch between overhead and side hand-held function (only overhead works).

Lovely, modern refit in an older building. The room is very stylish with good lighting and a nice balcony view. Has a bidet too, which is always in the plus column. Free pastries for breakfast every morning.

You can kind of hear through the walls as people walk by. The location wasn't the best, except for its proximity to the train station. Not too too far from the attractions in Catania. All in all, this one is clearly a labor of love, so I don't want to dock it too many points. It was an enjoyable stay. :)

Liked the room; good use of space. Bed space, closet space, breakfast space. Really liked that there was a balcony to sit out on and enjoy the outdoors.

Breakfast was just okay. Did get stuck in one of the elevators; luckily someone was entering the building and was able to help get us out.

It was very smart modern apartment with everything you needed. We were let in early which was helpful. As we walked up to it, it looked as though we were in an office block, when we got to the allocated floor it was clear they were new well thought out apartments. Easy to catch a bus to the airport
