The location is fantastic, only a few meters (maybe 150) from the heart of the historical center and Piazza Duomo. The host Emanuele was so caring and kind and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean, and the bed was really comfortable and huge. There is everything necessary in the room, and even a small dressing room. The TV has so many programs in various languages. Every day the owners put in the small fridge in the room some soft drinks and mineral water, free of charge. Oh, they are really so cute!!! The bus stops for Taormina and Siracusa are only a few minutes far from the B & B. I felt safe and happy on this property. And I will return there every time I go to Catania. Ah, by the way - Sicily is amazing, with a vivid, colorful atmosphere, nice people, and wonderful history, and it is a memory that you HAVE to live in your life! Thank you for everything!!!!

The location of the hotel is superb, the hotel is a 5-minute walk from via Etnea (the main street) and many good restaurants, bus to the airport is across the street and railway station is also nearby (800 m walk). Simona is an excellent host, friendly and very helpful, you feel like you were in someone's home. Our room was big and the beds were comfy. The breakfast has savory and sweet options and Simona's cappucino was one of the bests I had in Italy :).

- Excellent location! Really central and near the bus stop for the airport too. - The room was huge! So comfy and felt really safe and quiet. - The room has a fridge and kettle which was great (I find few places in Italy have kettles!) - Simona, who checked me in, was a star! Super friendly, helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble.

- I think the place is excellent value for money so I don’t want to be critical really. If I was being super picky, I wasn’t keen on the shower (it sprayed water over a large area rather than where would’ve been helpful, that is, on me!) There was a separate shower head but this didn’t work, unfortunately. It wasn’t a big deal though and I’d definitely stay at this property again if I return to Catania!

B&B Cutelli is perfectly located. Overlooking a small park, it is an easy walk to the historic centre of Catania. We arrived in the evening and were given self check in instructions which were easy to follow. The breakfast offered at 5 euros per person is great value and has lots of options and even american coffee!! Simona was a delight and very helpful with lots of information about Catania. She speaks excellent English. Also there was parking available on the streets near the B&B for a couple of euros a night. But beware driving in Catania is not for the faint hearted!

This place was absolutely amazing! The cleanliness was impeccable, with everything perfectly organized and in its place. The amenities provided were exactly what we needed for a comfortable stay, including a hairdryer, iron, and fridge. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Despite our delays at the airport, he waited for hours at the property to welcome us. What a genuinely nice host! We couldn’t have asked for a better person to greet us with such warmth and hospitality. ;):) They even left complimentary water and refreshments for us in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. I would gladly return to this place, and I definitely will in the future. Thank you so much for adding such a sweet touch to our trip to Sicily!

Everything was perfect!

This BB is located in a very central position, few minutes from the main cathedral and square by feet. It features large comfortable rooms with a view on Piazza Cutelli. I have been there for work and my schedule was weird (arrived late, had to wake up very early). Nevertheless there was always a solution. Rich breakfast.

The fridge in the room is somehow noisy. what I did was to drink out the free water in it and unplug. You do not always get a fridge in each room for this price though.

Excellent location with an easy walk to all the main sights. On arrival in Catania we were able to get off our bus from Palermo at Piazza Martiri della Liberta which is much closer to the accommodation than the bus station, whilst the airport bus stops just across the road from the B&B. Friendly staff were there to meet us and offer information and advice. The room was a good size, we found the bed comfortable and slept well. With the windows and shutters closed we were not disturbed by outside noise (though possibly the piazza would be busier Fri/Sat nights?). The lift is a great option for those with heavy cases or mobility issues. Overall we were very pleased with out stay.

These are a few things that would have made the stay even better for us. The bathroom was compact and could do with a extra few hooks for towels and clothing and a shelf for toilet bags to offer more flexible options when using the limited space. It was not obvious how to adjust the two shower heads and we could not prevent water from flowing or trickling out of both at the same time. Some comfortable seating in the room would have been nice - at present there is a small wooden chair and a 'pouffe 'only - and we would have liked coffee and milk options in the room in addition to the teabags. The terrace was only available at breakfast but would have been a wonderful facility if open to guests for use at other times.

Absolutely lovely very clean ​and large apartament in the heart of Ortigia, with wonderful, caring hosts. We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful B&B. And I wish we could stay longer. We loved an artistic and cosy ambiance at B&B, shelves full of good books, artistic pictures on the walls, and a very comfortable bed. The location of the house is very strategic, ​close to everything, yet very quiet, also conveniently located 2 minutes from the local market which is open every day​, cafes and restaurants. The apartment has all the necessities you need for short and long term stay​, including washing machine, powder, etc. And most of all Anna & Riccardo are absolutely wonderful and caring hosts. I needed medical attention with my foot and Anna & Ricardo proved to be so caring and helpful, taking me to the diagnostic centre, even staying with me there​ helping with translation, etc., as if they were my closest family. ​On the last day Riccardo offered to take us to the train station and also took us for a ride around Ortigia just to make sure we have not missed anything. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. Anna & Ricardo, thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and your help.​ Hope to be back one day and stay at your place again. The room was cozy, clean, big enough for 3 people. There was a bus stop and a shop nearby. The property was a 10-minute walk from the Main bus and train station, and the city center is also just a few steps away. The dining room is cozy, homely, breakfast is delicious, the host has arranged a freshly prepared breakfast. In good weather we had breakfast on the terrace. The host was very friendly and advised us on trips to Taormina, Sirakuze, Aci Trezza, Aci Castello. We spent beautiful days in Catania.

Since we were out all day, we didn't miss anything. If I could expose anything, I would like there to be some closet in the room, not just a shelf and hangers, but for a few nights that was ok.

The staff were wonderful and helpful . Breakfast outside on the terrace was beautiful with eggs cooked to order and fabulous coffee. Also lots of choices of pastries and continental cheese and meats . Room very comfortable and small balcony gives a lovely view of the surrounding area. Very close to all the sights, restaurants and bars . We have stayed here before and didn’t want to stay anywhere else on our second visit. Great value for money and easy access as we arrived in the evening.

Leaving
