The location was good. Really handy for going back to the airport as bus stops right outside this accommodation. The bed was nice, big and comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The lady who served breakfast was very nice and helpful. The property felt safe and on occasions you need to open 4 doors or gates to get in. The room got refreshed every day. The street can be very loud but once you close the door and the shutters, it’s not that bad.

We didn’t like there was a step between the bathroom and the bedroom. We had to keep being careful not to fall. The breakfast was same every day and we soon got bored by the limited selection. The lady serving breakfast always burned the croissants. But all in all we enjoyed our stay.

The room was large and in an excellent location, quiet at night. Everything we needed was there. The breakfast was delightful, featuring freshly squeezed orange juice. The lady who prepared the breakfast was very kind, and we received lovely recommendations from her about Sicilian cuisine.

The only issue was the comfort of the mattresses, as they were quite worn. The uneven surface made them uncomfortable, and lying on them felt like sinking in. It kept waking me up at night.

Tucked away down a back street and on top of a very good bistro. Very well appointed room and a very nice and helpful host. I booked expecting a breakfast and was told the owner would meet me in the morning and arrange breakfast. After the appointed time came and went I decided to cut my losses and go hunting for a cafe for breakfast. Anyway the custodian of the property saw me leaving and indicated that I should follow him! After 3 minute walk we arrived at a great wee coffee house where Cooke and an excellent croissant were served for breakfast. Unusual arrangement but very good.

The place is very well located, 5-10 minutes walking from the most touristic areas of the city. It was really clean, well-equipped (with toiletries, towels, hairdryer, adittional blankets), the breakfast was ok (though it was lacking of a bit of healthy options). The decoration of the apartment was lovely, the owner included recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. I could also leave my luggage for some hours after the check-out, which was very convenient.

I could not pay the city tax with credit card, and once I had cash, they did not have change for a 10 euro note.

The location is great, close to public transport but also close to the main atractions in city center. WIFI was very good and the staff was very helpfull with our demands. the room was clean too and there was no noise as other mentioned. The breakfast is very basic but its enough to get the day going. We also got help to leave luggages until the room was ready.

nothing to dislike overall

Just got back from staying at Mirai in Hvar and it was perfect.! The apartment is super clean and modern with a super sea view from the balcony. Pretty garden out front that made mornings feel extra peaceful. It’s just a few minutes from town, so easy to get everywhere but still quiet. Mia was amazing, super helpful and always around if we needed anything. Thank you Mia! Definitely recommend!

The b&b was in very central location near the main sights and train station, although noisy from the road. We slept OK though. The room was big and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was varied and tasty

AC wasn't working properly. Had we been there a week earlier, that would be a huge problem, but since it was 27C outside, we managed. The floor was dirty and was never cleaned while we were there although the rest of the room was clean. The ventilation in the bathroom wasn't working properly either and we could smell s**t from other people's bathrooms! The breakfast room was very small and the tables too close to one another.

Good location, near the center and bus to the airport. Housekeeping was good. Breakfast was OK

Although it stated there is parking when we came there was no available parking. We were sent to a "parking lot" that wanted 40 eur in advance. When we wanted to park on the street we asked for an explanation from the host but he didn't respond.

Casa di Alma was a good find. Close to central Catania without being in the crowded, noisy zone. The rooms were tastefully decorated, with comfortable bedding and a high standard of linen/towels. The onsite host, Pina was sweet and helpful throughout my brief stay.

I arrived approx. 8am Sunday morning after 32 hours in transit. I wasn't able to leave my luggage until after 10.30am. This meant I had to drag my suitcase and onboard case through the streets of a city I was not familiar with. The wait was only a couple of hours but trying to find somewhere open that I could walk to with luggage was not a load of fun!

Great location, easy to come & go from / to the airport by bus. It's also close to Piazza Duomo (aprox.10 min by foot) and other popular places around. Host contacted us when the room was ready and gave us very good recommendations of places to eat. Breakfast as expected, in the italian style, perfect for us.

Our room was facing the main street, which was quite noisy. Probably during the summer time it's even more busy, which could be an issue for some.
