It is a clean very reasonable accommodation once you get up to the rooms. Wi fi, small balcony. We stayed here at the beginning and the end of our holiday. I would describe it as no frills. When you come back late there is a light at the bottom of the stairs to the left of the main entrance, not obvious so letting people know. There is a great steakhouse underneath the b&b highly recommend.

The entrance in to the b&b doesn't really fill you with confidence feels a little tired, could do with a make over. The bathroom is clean but the shower head could do with updating too.

I came here for my honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. I left to travel Sicily for 2 weeks and then returned her for another 2 nights before leaving for Rome. Alfio and Francesca were absolutely amazing. They were so helpful and accommodating. We already miss them! Francesca and her son signor Eduardo gave me the best and the funniest check-in ever. It was late and i got all assistance i needed. The room is spacious, you have everything you need. And location is just very close to the center, perfect for sightseeing.

Perfect location, big room, helpful staff - gave us recommendations for the nice restaurants :) Also, prepared a small breakfast for us.

Bed mattress a bit soft and "noisy" bed when moving, and confusion about providing breakfast, but we sorted it :)

I stayed here with my girlfriend and we were both extremely happy with the helpfulness of the kind staff and the quality of the hotel. The rooms are big and have a great view. The location is super and the hotel lies at a walking distance to the center of Catania. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so this is something we cannot judge. Francesca and her colleagues at B&B Favola Mediterranea did a fantastic job at making is feel welcome. Transport to and from the airport is also offered at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend to people travelling to Catania!
