It was close to almost everything. It had a homey feel.

the sink somehow clogged (water was not draining well). the room was tight but clean and just enough for our stay. The blanket was too thin for the cold weather.

-The shower was in the room - although aesthetically it looked very modern, it was not practical. It smelled quite strongly of sewage, and all the smell came into the room (if it was placed in the bathroom, at least the smell would stay behind the door); there was no ventilation, and all the steam from the shower entered the room, which made the bed and clothes damp after the shower; Probably also because the shower was in the room, there was mold in the corners; - Sea view room - this mention is exaggerated. You can barely see the sea

The room was very modern and large. The breakfast was excellent. Felt a very secure property.

Location was good for the train station and the city centre. The area was a little intimidating at first, but Catania is a big Sicilian city.

From start to finish, the place and service was one of the best we have had in Sicily. We were supplied with an airport shuttle service via the establishment, both coming and going, which helped so much. The room was extremely clean with daily cleaning and there was always someone on hand to help. We will definitely be going back.

The only thing we, as a couple didn't like, was that we were unable to get good tea bags to have a cup of tea. Being English we like a cup of tea in the morning. But as you may know, coffee is the most drunken beverage in Sicily.

The property is absolutely amazing, I paid for the suite which included the private spa. Was a great option in 35 degree weather. Comes with largggeeee spa, AC, high roofs, 2 tvs with Netflix or YouTube and an extra room with the shower and toilet. Was worth every euro. The staff are lovely and super helpful. They will give you a contact number where you can message them any information you need. Fridge comes stocked with drinks - soft drink, water, beer, wine and Prosecco. Breakfast is croissants, cereal, coffee, yogurt and juice.

Note - staff are not always at reception, please let them know when you will be arriving (I did so there was no hassle but if you don’t you might be stuck outside for a little bit). There is a big gate into the property and then you enter the property.

Le Dimore Degli Archi is a wonderful place to spend your holidays in Catania. It has a great location, very near to any place to visit. The rooms are big, with a lot of light and very modern (with balcony). Even though they overlook a nice park with a street nearby, they are not noisy at all. Above all, they are very clean. The place provides also a very nice Italian breakfast to enjoy. As advised by the property, it is not difficult to park for free in the vicinities of the property, especially in the evenings. It is definitely a great value for money in Catania. I highly recommend it.

Big and very Clean rooms with a welcoming atmosphere. The pool, air condition and media are working well and give you an "at Home Feeling" after a long day in Catania or a Roadtrip through sicily. The rooms are getting cleaned everyday and the breakfast is also good. The Hotel is located very close to the city centre, just a 5 minute walk to the main plaza. And I highly recommend the pizza place 50m up the street for an evening snack.

I don't like to share a blanket with my spouse, but that is up to everyones personal taste.
