Friendly owner, very welcoming. Good location in the downtown, near the bus station with some local bakeries on the doorstep. Just 1km walk from the centre. The apartment was spotless, comfortable bed, good shower, good WiFi, fridge available, interesting ceiling. Cute, private balcony with street views. The room stayed cool which was nice. Located in a quiet area so a good night’s sleep.

It would have been nice to have been provided with a kettle and mugs so we could make some hot drinks, otherwise couldn’t fault the property and we will be back.

We have been greeted very warmly by Danilo - the property owner, who provided us with a lot of useful information about the facilities in the area and also recommended places to visit in Catania. The apartment is located very conveniently, close to bus and train stations, short walk to the city centre and many restaurants and mini markets available around. The area is calm and feel safe after dark. The room was very spacious with interesting ceiling paintings and very good AC and fridge that were truly needed as it was very hot outside. The bathroom was spacious and extremely clean, the shower was very powerful. Danilo was such nice host, he even offered us morning coffee and was always making sure that we had everything we needed.

There is a picture of a kitchen on the Booking.com that might suggest that there is an access to the kitchen facilities. There is no access to such facilities and it would probably be better to take that picture off the website. It would be also nice to have some glasses or cups available in the room to be able to drink from whether for cold or hot drinks. Danilo mentioned that these are available on demand but we did not want to disturb him everytime we wanted to prepare a hot or cold drink There is a kettle available but it is not in the room itself and it is shareable with other apartments.

The host was very helpful, even before we set off from the Uk. We informed Danilo we would be arriving late and he sent videos on how to enter the premises. Made us feel welcome. Shower great, room was clean, nice size for two people and close to the train station for the late night arrival. We stayed for 3 nights, it was a Good base for the city, in between the station and the city, (we used Lime scooters on a couple occasions) Being on the second floor made the room feel secure and the stairs helped burn off the calories from the great food in the city. Would stay again ( air con was great ) thanks for bringing fresh coffee over in the morning.

Nothing really

-the owner is very friendly, showed us the sights of catania on a map and offered coffee every morning -nice renovated bathroom -balcony with sun in the morning and a view - great -secure parking place nearby, we paid 60 EUR for 4 days

-there are two floors to climb - that's not impossible, but we had a lot of luggage -the room is not that big, but that was known in advance -room door cannot be locked from the inside / no extra lock beside the room card -only one key for two persons -no safe in the room

Excellent location for my needs (event near the station), tiny room suitable for one person but perfectly equipped, large bathroom with bide and shower, very very quiet (courtyard windows and far from traffic), and I felt safe in the street, it was very calm. Little working table available and air conditioning was a must in those very hot august days - highly appreciated even for someone like me who tries to avoid using it. Overall excellent experience.

Check in hours flexibility can be improved

The host was amazing, one of the nicest people! He offered coffee every morning and gave lots of tips and tricks for exploring the area. The room and bathroom was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was great, just a ten minute walk down the main street to the main part of town. I would highly recommend a stay here!

It was in a central location, many restaurants, cafes, shops nearby, close to public transport points (Catania C.le train station, bus station- Etna bus, Alibus Aerporto)

If the balcony door was open, everyone from the neighboring apartments could see in, if it was closed, the room was dark and there was no air because there was no window. The city center of Catania was very loud and noisy from 11pm to 4am, so we could not sleep or relax in the apartman. I only recommend it as a temporary accommodation.

Super clean, small and minimalistic but comfortable room , very good location -close to the train station and the main places.Kind and helpful host, his advise on cafes and eateries were really good as well.Good Wifi.My room was loooking at the backyard, no issues with noise. There is no coffee or tea maker in the room, just to be aware, but the bar Pelegrino, which is near by , offers fantastic coffee and breakfast. Very good for short stay.

It’s located in a minute’s walk from Catainia’s main train station, so, was easy to catch up both on trains & busses, the Alibus bus stop to the airport & AST bus stops to Etna & the airport were all in front of the railway station. I was happy as the owner of the B&B’s Danilo was very supportive & helpful.

It was very close to the center. The location is just 5 min from the train and bus station so its perfect when you also want to visit Taormina and Syracuse. The host was really great. Took the time to explain everything in detail, gave really good tips about the city, what to see and where to eat. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

A bit noisy if you don’t sleep with air con on and want to leave the terrace open.
