We had an amazing stay at this apartment! Host Gabriella was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us throughout our visit. She was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. Our room was cleaned daily, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is perfect—very central and within walking distance to the city center, making it easy to explore the area.

Gabriella,was a great host and came to fix a minor air-con problem and pick me up when I got lost on first day. A very comfortable bed and good shower.The location is great 5mins to station and close to centre. Breakfast was appreciated,and it was great having access to tea and coffee-cake at any time in the kitchen which makes this place a great place in my view..

I am a very light sleeper and on a return visit would get a back room a bit further from the road.The room was pretty soundproof.

I had a fantastic stay at this B&B! The room was lovely and spacious, with plenty of room to relax. The bathroom was a great size, impeccably clean, and smelled fresh throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the unique and classy balcony, which offered a stunning view of the sea—a perfect spot to unwind. The location was ideal, just a short drive to beautiful beaches and walk to nearby attractions. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable gate away! Our host was the most amazing and we miss her already. Always helpful and spoiled us with the lovely candies 😊

Loved the facilities such as the room, small fridge, big bathroom. I loved how cosy it felt. Water was also provided every day in your room! Breakfast was great, a lot of pastries, different type of juices, fruits, and you could also order the day before which is a great system in my opinion. Gabriella made it easy for me on the day of my arrival as she gave me instructions on how to get to the hotel and how much the bus ticket would be. It was so lovely!

Personally I would’ve liked softer pillows but that’s just me, I’m used to a thin pillow at home. But bed was very comfortable and warm!

Gabrielle, the proprietress, is delightful but I wish I had known in advance that your arrival must be precisely timed for her to let you in. The entrance is a massive door with a tiny nameplate among other distractions on the wall that took me several attempts to find! Glad that I did, though!

Excellent host, friendly, helpful and provided us eith maps and valuable information. Breakfast choice was diverse and plentiful. We needed help late at night and Gabriella answered immediately. Room very clean and bright with a nice balcony from which we could see the sea. Location excellent, close to the railway station and pretty safe to walk. 12 minute walk to the city centre. We only stayed one night and we enjoyed every minute knowing that we had this place to stay overnight. The room was small but we didn't mind given the fact that we were there to explore the town. The airport shuttlebus station is just around the corner so acces was pretty easy. If we ever return to Sicily this is the place we would like to choose again. The building has an elevator. Please follow the map and Gabriela's advice and avoid trusting google maps that will take to to the city centre through some dodgy streets.

The host Gabriella was very kind and supportive and solved our little problem with the room immediately and friendly. The B&B is very good located and to reach easy and in a short time to if you arrive by train, bus or from the airport. Although it’s located directly on a buisy road with a lot of traffic also at night, it’s quiet if you close the window and use air con. Or you ask for a room that overlook the courtyard. The rooms are located in the first floor. You can need an elevator if you want or need. The rooms are very nice and spotless clean with a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The way to the historic center is very short (10 min to walk). The breakfast offers a selection of Coffee, fruits, sweet treats and eggs and you can order various delicious cornettos. It was more then expected in a B&B. We enjoyed our short stay (only one night) very much and recommend Gabriella’s B&B.

Excellent location - 5 minute walk from the train station and the bus to the airport was just around the corner. Short walk from the accommodation into the centre of Catania. The room was clean and quiet and had the lovely atmosphere of an older building with an internal courtyard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made to order by preordering the day before. Great coffee. A really nice place to stay and great value for money. The family atmosphere made it truly memorable. An authentic Sicilian experience.

There was nothing about this place that I disliked. When I return to Catania I will stay here again. One suggestion for potential guests - the large green door on the street that you enter through to access the accommodation has a VERY small sign that states it is the B and B Puritani. The nearby caffe's owner saw my confusion and asked me if I was looking for the B and B. It is obviously a regular occurrence. My only "complaint" is too small a plaque on the street for weary travellers.

My room was gorgeous ! massive windows opened out to a small balcony which ran the length of the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and spacious, the en-suite was large with grand double doors leading out to same balcony. It was quiet and peaceful despite being on a very busy road. The next morning the host was so friendly and produced a very fitting breakfast for the price. i highly recommend this B&B

Solid walls so soundproofing very good! Breakfast catered for vegans with lovely fresh fruit. Coffee excellent Location a couple of minutes from central train and bus. Easy walk to most historic sites
