It's a lovely B&B in Catania. The central location is perfect—safe and easy to get around on foot or by bus. Igor, the host, is incredibly sweet and caters to every need imaginable. He provided us with a map, great restaurant recommendations, and even surprised us with pastries and a little travel kit the morning of check-out. He also allowed us to leave our luggage at the B&B until late at night since we had a midnight flight. The place itself is charming and offers all the conveniences, including a lift and a kitchen fridge filled with yogurt and juice. The room is spacious, with high ceilings and a large window that lets in plenty of light. The decor is well thought-out, featuring a wardrobe, chest, couch, and vanity. Everything looks exactly like the photos, but the charm of the place really shines through in person. It was a wonderful stay, and I would love to come back!

What an amazing piece of history! The B&B used to be the host, Igor’s grandfather’s, is rich in layers of family stories. From the antiques on the floor, to the art on the walls, and the lovely vintage lighting hanging from the 20 metre ceilings, it is a wonderful place to be steeped in old Sicily. Igor is a lovely, warm and attentive host, great to communicate with, and so thoughtful. He had Sicilian pastries, drinks and espresso waiting for us upon arrival, and gifted us with a mini travel kit as a departing gift. A highlight of our stay was entering through the magnificent storey-high iron doors that led to the original lift. It felt like we were in a movie!

It wasn’t an issue for us, but might be useful to know for others that our room didn’t have a self-contained bathroom. Access was through the kitchen.

I liked absolutely everything! From check-in to check-out! Igor is a very friendly, attentive and friendly person! The apartment has Italian charm! For breakfast there is always fresh and very tasty pastries, coffee, juices. The room is very clean and smells nice, fresh bed linen and towels every morning! In addition to breakfast, Igor always treated us to sweets and made pleasant surprises! Igor always took care of our comfort! We are very pleased with our stay with this wonderful owner! Thank you Igor for such a wonderful meeting and service!! And even on the day of departure, at 6:40 a fresh, delicious breakfast was already waiting on the table!! We were pleasantly surprised!! Thank you for everything, we will definitely meet again!

Everything was lovely, helped me with the location and even though we didn't speak each other's language we managed and it was a pleasant and relaxing stay

The bathroom is off the kitchen, through some shaded glass doors. Like a frosted glass greenhouse. it's a bit odd. I didn't mind too much but if you're not so comfortable it's something to be aware of.

A real experience Old, high-class apartment, renovated and furnished according to the period. Yet equipped with everything: Wi-Fi, air conditioning, TV. The house is in a good neighborhood, safe, the city center is about a 10-minute walk away. The host - Igor - is very kind and helpful. We didn't have any requests or questions that he didn't help with immediately. It's like we were staying with a relative. Breakfast is typical Italian. Coffee, croissants, other pastries, tea, water, juice, yogurt. The apartment, room, and common areas were clean, and the decoration was extraordinary. Spacious, modern bathroom. If you want to stay in Catania, we absolutely recommend the place. A real experience!

What a wonderful place to stay - Igor was so kind to meet me before check-in time. The room is incredibly beautiful, the bed comfy, the shower was wonderful. He was the consummate host with special touches and so welcoming.

From the beginning to the end everything was perfect. The location, the place were very clean, good and in the center. The owner of the place is the best. He cares about the guests very well and really helpful. When we visit for the next time we will definitely choose this place again

The location is prime. Our host was very attentive. The fridge was stocked with many options. The decor in the room was beautiful. We got great help from our host booking our taxi in the early morning.

Double keys would be helpful, one for each guest.

It was wonderful to experience an authentic apartment in Catania. The coffee and breakfast were wonderful. Igor made a special effort to provide a gluten free breakfast for me. Restaurant recommendation was outstanding.

Very busy area but I suspect all of Catania is like that

The property is well kept and maintained. Everything is provided that you would need.

The street noise can be loud. I have a white noise machine that worked perfectly at night.
