We had a very pleasant stay at B&B Liberty 900 in Catania. The host was very welcoming, awaiting our late arrival at almost 10PM and still taking the time to explain to us everything about the room and giving us helpful tips about our stay (where to eat, where suitable locations for beach days would be, etc). She even accommodated an earlier breakfast hour for us because we mentioned we had booked an early morning guided tour to the Etna volcano for the next day. The room we stayed in (Plaza) is very spacious, with a high ceiling that is decorated in a turn of the 20th century style pattern, The AC unit is strategically placed so as to not face the bed directly, yet still provide an efficient cooling of the room. The location is within a 10-15 min walking distance from the start of the historical city center. There is a bar just next to the location and there is a grocery store 2-3 mins away. There are plenty of paid (blue line) parking spots nearby and even a private parking facility in close vicinity. The breakfast is a typical Italian one, but the morning cappucino, croissant and scrambled eggs were a welcoming delight. It is also a very good choice to have the breakfast in the interior garden which provides a very pleasant ambiance. Overall, the stay at Liberty 900 exceeded our expectations and we are happy to recommend it.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at BNB liberty 900 and highly recommend anyone to stay there - we are already thinking of when we can come back to explore further. The bedroom was clean and a good size, bathroom was clean and as well a great size. The shower was really powerful, which is important for me. Breakfast was lovely, but I think what topped it was the staff. Everybody was so welcoming, kind and gave us wonderful recommendations. Thank you!

Hello!! It is very important to give my opinion in this case. Both the situation and the accommodation was a 10. As a localisation, we had everything nearby, monuments, restaurants and of course shops. The accommodation is spectacular. Very clean and very well maintained. And the staff there I go!! Fantastic the friendliness of the owner and attention of the staff. Thank you very much for everything and for the 7 a.m. coffee. I will definitely go back there. A strong hug

Great staff. Very helpful on check in. Lovely room with access to an outside seated area. Breakfast was a bonus. We would definitely recommend this to friends. After 5 weeks on the road this was one of the top properties we stayed at. It's also very handy to the airport bus stop.

All very good. Possibly just a piece of fresh fruit with breakfast would be good.

Veronica was great. The kitchen staff were friendly and helpful. The room was huge and so nice to have a table and chairs in the room. The location was fabulous! We took the Alibus from the airport and were dropped off right in front. We loved the little neighborhood. And the bar beneath the B&B is always busy and good. And Catania was such a pleasant surprise - we loved it!

They should switch things up at breakfast every day instead of the same thing every day. Also you don't heat croissants up in a microwave - it ruins them. Also, when they offer scrambled eggs, it would be nice to each get a plate of them rather than a bizarre plateful of eggs that were very lightly whipped and then cooked.

It had a great location. The room was nice and large, and we asked for the room onto the courtyard, which gave us a great option for wine and cheese one night. Definitely try and get this room. The owners were also lovely and very helpful; they even helped fix an issue with the car rental company. There was parking out the front from later in the afternoons.

It would have been nice to have some shampoo and conditioner in the shower, but I acknowledge that many Italian places do not do this.

Delicious breakfast with a great choice of food. Excellent check-in service. Veronica and her mother made us very welcome, giving us great tips about about places to visit and best restaurants. The accommodation was very well located for sightseeing.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Our room was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The location is excellent, we walked everywhere and were pleased to find that the bus back to the airport stops right outside the property. The owner and her mum were charming and very helpful with recommendations for restaurants etc.

The owner & her mother were very friendly and helpful. The mother showed us where there were restaurants nearby on a map she gave us. The breakfasts were very good and had plenty of variety. The breakfast area had a large area where you could also sit outdoors.

The B & B is located in a residential area so there were not many restaurants nearby. Without a car it was not very convenient.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable, high quality bed linen. I loved that our room had two balconies. Everything was clean and nice. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was specially made for us- scrambled eggs, warm croissants, hot cocoa for kids... and coffee- it was really really good.
