OMG!!! That was a luxury!!!! The room looks like we are back in time into some royal palace!!! So many gorgeous details, ancient pieces, precious! The host Ludovico not just sent us all the instructions but actually met us personally (we arrived in the evening), showed us the place and explained everything. There was food in the fridge and his mother made few cakes for the guests!!! That was delicious and included in the price! Plus a chocolate liquor!!! The place is stunning!!! Everything about it is amazing! We will definitely be back!!! Pretty soon! Our best stay in whole Sicily!!! Highly recommended! Not to mention it is very close to the center and all the sightseeing places. Oh, and a superb restaurant Du Mori Osteria is just two blocks away! We had a super yummy dinner there.

We stayed at a hotel called Dimoro Umberto in Catania for one night, and it was amazing. It felt like we had traveled back in time. My spouse and I felt like a king and queen. Everything in the room was not only very historical but also luxurious, clean, and well-maintained. Additionally, we were able to enjoy delicious cakes made by the host’s mother, free of charge, and they tasted incredible. The host’s mother was there when we checked out, and she sent us off with kisses. This was a wonderful experience for us, and we highly recommend staying here to everyone!

This place stood out from every other accommodation I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The design was not only unique but also truly authentic, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. I didn’t just have access to a room – the entire apartment was available, making it feel like a true home away from home. Everything I could possibly need was there, nothing was lacking. What made my stay even more special was the incredible host. Ludovico went above and beyond, providing assistance and information far exceeding my expectations. His kindness and willingness to help made my experience that much more enjoyable and stress-free.

We had a wonderful stay here in Catania with superb attention from the host & the staff lady. Pictures are true to the place. The location is great. Close to anything you may want to visit. Comfortable bed & pillows & lasting water shower. Adjustable heat & A/C. Lots of breakfast & snack treats. There are 3 rooms in the apartment so you are booking one of them. Be mindful of using your TV too late as it may disturb your neighbor. Some rooms have private in suite bathroom like ours. We got a small fridge & they have a microwave outside to use. There is a sofa living room area too. There are supermarkets nearby & a great restaurant "IL Tubo" not to miss the seafood spaghetti! We would definitely rebook!

We were most satisfied with the owner and the lady who showed up every morning for breakfast. They were so nice and helpful. The location was excellent 👌

Unfortunately we didn't get much sleep on the bed, but that's just my opinion. Otherwise the bed was beautiful. Accommodation was by the road someone could be woken up by cars and passing motorbikes. The last thing is not a criticism just advice for other travelers. If you need a taxi at night or early morning like we did to the airport. I recommend booking a taxi on the day of arrival. We were very shocked at how hard it is to book a taxi to the airport 12 hours before departure and almost rode on lime wheelers.

The location is well positioned, away from traffic, a bit dubious at first, but compensates for the attitude of the owner and the hospitality encountered. Regarding what we encountered, we were pleased with all the facilities offered, their attitude towards the way they made us feel. Highly recommend for a stay.Appreciate the homemade cakes and everything that was made available for the guests' enjoyment

It smelled a bit musty in the room and a bit in the bathroom, and the shower was a bit dirty.

Our stay at Dimora Umberto was absolutely spectacular! The apartment is stunning – beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I had the most amazing holiday experience! The appartment is located in a central area, very close foot distance. It was an unique experience staying in a late 18th century building. The host, ludovico was so kind to show us the property and still I am amazed of its beauty. For some one who loves art, history and antique interiors this property is a unique choice. Sparkling clean, great amenities and an amazing authentic Italian breakfast/still many choices for individuals with dietary restrictions.

What a place! Don't hesitate book this! Spotlessly clean amazing value for money, the best people to communicate with. Huge room, lots of extra bits which is just a beautiful touch. Location is good 15 - 20 mins walk to the main bit. Not one bit of dirt anywhere! Dont hesitate book 10/10

There is a little noise from the traffic as it's close to the main road but it's a city and that's what happens! Not a negative
