Good Value for Money with very central location! Charming and clean rooms.

The Pre-Check-In procedure is very exhausting and a lot of personal data is asked for (even self-picture holding ID of each guest along front and back picture of each document). Host is saying personal data gets deleted after Check-Out but guest can not control if this has been really done. I do understand that, due to self Check-In, some data needs to be asked for but it felt this escalated too much via their platform.

Great location, parking spot near by, nice small balcony, restaurant next door, extremely spacious bathroom, bidet, fluffy white towels of all sizes.

Quite annoying check in system via VIKEY app, no flexibility regarding early check in and late check out, no leaving luggage options. Poorly equipped kitchen, no fridge in the room.

Checking was easy and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Few minutes walk to main old parts of the city. Room big but with low ceiling in this particular room. Was good for a one night stay.

Didn’t realises that the room was in the attic - kind of, so low ceilings and very tight steps to the actual room. Room windows faces the beautiful courtyard where the restaurant of the same name is located, so it gets noisy during dinner time, but most of all the smell from food is very strong from all extraction fans in the restaurant, so we couldn’t keep any of the windows opened.

The staff very helpful, the location, quiet area alot of shops near centre and bus/ metro. i could leave my bag in a storage before check in, comfy room and bed, big wardrobe,large kitchen and fridge.

The stairs ..the flat was on the third floor alot of stairs ...the washing machine was near my room so it made alot of noise late at night( maybe there should be specific hours or put in the kitchen.) The room wasn't cleaned or bin taken away during the four days i was there.No clean towels as well or new shampoo for four days.

Staff were good. The place was clean and bed comfy! Thankful I had some help getting my luggage up the staircase to my room. It had a cute little dining/lobby area. The location had some cool stuff around and restaurants etc. felt pretty safe and lively.

A bit difficult to get into the place and then up the stairs, and then I was on the top floor so up a super tiny windy stair case with a big suitcase and was hard to get it down on my own, as a solo female traveller. If there are 2 of you travelling it probably wouldn’t be too complex. Charged to leave bags the next day for a couple hours while I went out after check out. But nothing major.

A house with old italian architecture, with nice rooms and a splendid shared living room. We had a room with private bathroom (there are also rooms with shared one, it is mentioned when you book it) and a balcony. Kunal, the guy at the reception, was very nice and helped us check in online and use the Vikey (a system that allows you to open the doors by phone) because we arrived late. We loved the restaurant at the first floor that has a beautiful garden and nice atmosphere. It was awesome that we could eat a good pizza with all the italians around us🤩🥰. We like to mix with local people and catch their vibe. Near the bus station that takes you from the airport to city center, and the bus for the train station (Statione Centrale). 20 min walk from Statione Centrale if you don't want to wait for the bus.

They need to add in the booking info that check in does not start until 3pm and that you can’t leave your bags there until then. We made it work, but thats not great for travelers. The courtyard where the rooms are is loud. Noise from the pizzeria is fine, you are in a city, but the restaurant dumpsters are below near the rooms (no smell or anything) but they were throwing glass into them a lot and it was very loud. It did seem to stop around midnight.

Location would be fine for any other time of the year, but not a plus when there are St Agata celebrations all around this spot!

At arrival, all the streets around our "reserved" parking were closed because of St Agata celebrations. We were not aware about this, it was very difficult for us to navigate the one way streets and we ended up parking somewhere far away, 30 minutes from the property. It would have been good to be advised about the streets closure our arrival day, this is a big fiesta for locals and of course the host knew about it, we corresponded about parking but they did not tell us we could not reach it! 2 hours wasted in traffic in the evening of our arrival and no access to it! Their service number was not reachable "after service hours", meaning that we could not had assistance for this situation at our arrival in the evening.

I booked last minute, I stayed 1 night and I will return here for a longer stay for sure. Transportation was very comfortable. The airport bus stop was just a 5 min walk away, and buses to the beach departed from right across the street. The room I stayed in overlooked a courtyard with other buildings and was very quiet. Both the common areas and my room were clean. Another big plus was the location, just a short walk from the city’s most vibrant streets, Etnea and Gemmellaro. The location is just a few minutes from the city centre. It has a restaurant on the ground floor which you have a 10% discount if you reside there. The apartment has ample light everywhere with balconies and a lovely terrace. The bed is very comfortable and there is also a sofa bed which could sleep another 2 people. There is also a kitchen which is a plus if you plan to stay for longer days. The host is really friendly and polite. He showed us the apartment and if we needed anything we could just go in the floor below or call. We had problems with the tv. They came quickly to solve the problem. Reception is open between 3pm and 8pm so any problems they are available to assist. Sheets were clean and lovely. Air-conditioning in bedroom and also in the second room where there is the sofa bed. Good sized rooms and beautiful paintings on the wall.

Curtains would have been a nice addition since none of the rooms had any resulting in little to no privacy. we couldn't enjoy the sunlight properly in every room. The shower is a bit too small but manageable. A bathroom drawer was a bit dirty with old shower gels sachets that were left there but it didn't bother me. If i visit catania again it would still be my first choice to stay here.
