In this new world of online everything, it was nice to actually be welcomed by the owner of the B&B: Dany was waiting for me at the top of the stairs with a huge smile on her face to hand over the keys and proudly show off the features of a bygone age apartment (ca.1900) owned by a .modern day flower child, as we walked to my huge bedroom. Long hallways with gorgeous yellow majolica floor tiling, tall shuttered windows that open out to a small patio hanging over the street, elaborate hanging brass chandeliers, cozy dining area area of tables, set for the help-yourself free breakfast in the kitchen decorated with record album covers from the 70's, etc. The later checkout time allowed for a really relaxed morning in the super comfortable king size bed. I had an evening flight and Dany graciously allowed me to leave my backpack for pick-up later in the day. Lots of hot water fot the shower. Good choice of breakfast items: cereal, rusks, cookies, juice, yoghurt, cheese, jam. bread, coffee pods, tea, milk

No sink in the kitchen? A few things were broken - toaster, microwave, etc) but it was not really a problem. Apologies were given and the repairs were visibly about to happen.

The place is extremely cozy and charming, the bed is really comfortable, everything was clean and nicely set up. There is big variety of breakfast choices, everything is well explained, you can store personal food in the fridge in the common area. There are two terraces - one private, from the bedroom, and another one from the kitchen (common one). The street is noisy but when you close the terrace door you can't hear anything, plus - there is AC in the room. The staff explained everything we needed to know in details, and was answering our questions throughout the day, really helpful!! The place is nearby the old center (you can walk). Definitely do recommend this place!

The place is located very close to the area with restaurants and stores. 10 mins walk from Villa Bellini and Lidl. From here you can travel at every part of the town or just stroll the city on foots. Thanks to owner of the place ( very kind and friendly person 🙂) it is clean and cosy. In the room is big bed, TV, chair, table, air conditioning 👍🏻. Kitchen is supplied with water, juice, coffee, tea. For breakfast you can choose what to eat from the fridge. Jogurt, cheese, ham, vegetables, fruits, corn flakes, toasts. If you agree that you will share bath the rest is great , for me it was not a problem.

Bed was squeaky, but very comfortable. The street outside the window is quite busy which causes noise of motorcycles and traffic horns, but after long walk in Catania you will not hear it and sleep well 😉

Dream 117 is located in very nice area of Katania, not far away from the old centre, with lot's of good locals nearby. The room is beautiful - it have big window with balcony, high roof and big wardrobe. There is also another balcony inside, very nice decorated. The host is very helpful, gave us a lots of recommendations for food, trips and was open to help with anything!

Bed has too soft mattress, but this is my personal opinion. It seems, that some things need to be repaired, but I believe this will change in the future :)

Good location, 15-20 minutes walk from Duomo square, 25 minutes from the train station. Clean and well equipped room, located on the courtyard side, which made the room quiet. Bathroom ok as well. Tasty breakfasts. A very nice owner, we had constant contact with her, she recommended us many restaurants and places worth visiting. I recommend!

The breakfast was tasty, but not very varied. Additionally a little too rarely replenished, a few products were missing on the last day :(

I really like the room design and decoration, super clean and cool and gave me the vibe of true “Italian house” from the classic movie. the host is very lovely and the room smells so nice. It takes 5mins to Trento nord by walking to stop Alibus to go to the aéroport. 15mins walk to reach theatre Romano and shopping center. Really recommended, we can have breakfast as early as 5.30 am!

nothing, maybe change the toilet seat a bit

Dany was an exceptional host. My boyfriend is vegetarian and she was able to accommodate him for breakfast. We also had a later check in that wasn't a problem for her. I had requested some stuff for our room and Dany did not disappoint. We also had a car with us and were able to find parking right way, close by. The city center was a 15 min walk from there and not too hard of a walk. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Dany!!

Nothing. Everything was great!

It is a good place for leaving for few days. Near city centre and a lot of attractions. Comfortable location and not big but comfortable room. We have some problems with heating systems but as soon as we write to landlord all was fixed.

The shower was not so good - water was a little bit cold.

The owner is super nice and friendly, the room was clean and cozy. The bathroom is was fully equipped but it's situated on the other side of the apartment - you need to cross the kitchen/breakfast room to get there. Big choice for breakfast but everything prepackaged.

It's a classic old building with no isolation. There was a lot of noise in the room from the street and from the corridor. The a/c (used to heat up the room) was very loud.

Everything was good, we really liked the bed, it was very comfortable. The breakfast was great, many options. However, we had a problem with the shower and there was no hot water sometimes. I guess the problem is in the whole city but it’s very annoying.
