Staff were excellent. Pool and sea platform were amazing as was breakfast. View from room was also lovely. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel the only issues we're little things about the layout of the room. It was a very relaxing stay and we will definitely be back.

Balcony was small and window didn't let in much light. Bedroom was arranged in a very odd way with table in the middle of the room. The coffee and tea station did not have any plugs so machines all needed moving to be used. The bathroom was also strangely laid out with the toilet right behind the door and the hook for towels right over the toilet. The bidet also didn't work.

Very good value for money. Facilities are very good, the staff very friendly and the food quite good (like most places in Catania). Comfy bed, very clean, nice view of the seaside. We went off season, but still, it was not too crowded. Also liked the design of the interior with the stairs. Not noisy. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

The shower head is fixed, not mobile. I know it doesn’t seem like a big thing, but it always bothers me as I don’t feel you can clean yourself properly. Might not be a problem for everyone though, it’s a personal dislike.

Most importantly, I found the staff really friendly and ready to go the extra mile to help you out. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is amazing, with a large variety of options, including cannoli, Sicilian granita, and berry and apricot pies. Although it is quite far away from the airport and the centre of Catania, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel with routes to the centre.

You have to pay to access the pool (at least in peak summer season) - something like €12 for a full day and €8 for a half day. The spa costs €25 per hour and must be booked in advance. Just make sure you know these details in advance before booking

Room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet offered a large selection of pastries and Sicilian snacks, it was nice to enjoy a slow morning outside. There was a small gym on site open 24x7. Last but not least, staff was really helpful!

Breakfast buffet had only a few choices of proteins (scrambled eggs/boiled eggs/tarta/sausages & bacon) , perhaps this was more suitable for the Italian taste for sweet breakfast. Rather small balcony compared to the size of the room, but still nice to enjoy the sea view.

Very friendly staff. When we had a problem with our door, they fixed it immediately. They gave us a veryg good car rental service. And a very nice breakfast.

The refill in general. I.e. Water and toilet paper in our room and we always had a late breakfast and it took them a lot of time to refill the food that was gone. Oh, and they have a typical taste for art... It was a pity that the spa was being renovated.

Very pleasant and comfortable place to stay, the staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful when it came to booking trips and taxis.

We found the evening restaurant menus were very limited in choice for my 13 year old son, as a result we only dined in the on-site restaurant twice during the course of our week-long stay. The hotel is also located in a slightly awkward location between Catania and Aci Castello, with no real amenities or shops within a reasonable distance. This is not a problem if you are reasonably fit and able, but families with children or older relatives might struggle to find much to do within the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Really good hotel with great breakfast. Location is really nice directly at the sea and short distance into Catania. We Reichshof liked the very clean and functional rooms and the very stylish lobby. Special thanks to the awesome cleaning staff - they cleaned and tidied up very well every day.

The staff at the waterfront was not nice at all and blaming us because of just standing around - and not renting a sun bed for additional 12 Euro per person per day. These extra costs were also necessary for the sun beds at the hotel pool, which didn't feel good - paying extra for hotel services, which should be included in the price. The pictures also only show newly renovated rooms. Our were still old, however, it was super clean and mostly well maintained.

My choice was based on my experiencies of Marriott Hotels. High quality standards, clean rooms, kind staff and excellent location. The staff in the Bar also was very kind and helpful

Third party owned garage system. Doesn't speak english and very strange approach as they want to keep the key of the car without any insurrance and assurance. Thi is very weird the left my car key at an unknown person who does not belong to the Hotel.

Charming pool area and warm wading pool, friendly and helpful pool staff. It was nice not to have to wear swim caps like most Italian pools. Connecting rooms with private vestibule door which could lock. Bathtub in my room. Wheelchair provided by hotel for uncle with limited mobility. Room well stocked with complimentary water, slippers, toothbrushes, pen/paper mini-bar/fridge. Beautiful view of the pool and sea with balconies. Clean room and comfortable bed, excellent climate control of the room. Excellent English from all staff! Attached monitored garage for a reasonable fee taking good care of expensive rental car and providing access to the car at all odd hours.

We did not get pool cards or an explanation of how to reserve loungers, however the pool staff was very helpful. It was weird that the pool snack bar was closed for food from 3-5. I was excited about the jacuzzi tub in my room but the jets did not turn on.
