We found this hotel, nestled in the woods at Mount Etna, to be a true gem. The staff treated us like cherished friends from the moment we arrived, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Surrounded by nature's tranquility, the peaceful ambiance was a much-needed escape. The culinary experience was a highlight, with authentic Sicilian flavors that delighted our taste buds. The freshness of ingredients and expert preparation showcased the best of Sicilian cuisine. In summary, our stay here was exceptional. The combination of attentive staff, a serene forest setting, and delectable Sicilian fare earns this hotel a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars.

Locanda Milia is a place out of a fairytale. You arrive and immediately feel calm and at peace. The whole place is a highlight in itself. From the unique cellar bar, the delicious food and the impeccable rooms. The owner and the whole crew were really lovely people and we felt really welcome. We did different trips up Mount Etna and simply loved it. We will definitely come back. Outstanding experience! 10/10

excellent stay surrounded by nature.. staff very friendly and helpful.. restaurant on site is very good, with nice meals of local food, also breakfast was ok some cereal, bread and croissants. be prepared the mobile coverage is very low, but they have very good wifi. you have to walk a little from car parking to rooms but it was ok for us.

We stayed at the end of march. This place is amazing, very unique and a perfect mix of contemporary with a homage to the tradition and the landscape it sits within. The hosts were very hospitable and welcoming and obviously very proud of what they have achieved. The food was delicious as was the wine and our only regret was that we couldn't enjoy the place for longer.

Nothing to dislike

Everything - location, facilities, food. Brand new property. Excellent Chef. Beautiful room (#8) with private terrace. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a mountain experience in Sicily.

Our private suite was extremely well heated, but no underfloor heating. The provided slippers were needed, given it was still very cold overnight in early April.

Locanda Milia is a perfect place. Calm and peaceful in a beautiful grove inside the mount Athena Reserve . A new place built with fine taste by the owner (Pepe-Giuseppe) ,while paying attention to the last detail, making it a pampering refuge in nature. Pepe and Sabrina were attentive and ready to help in everything and for us became friends. We certainly hope to return for another round.

We loved everything about the property. It is very family friendly. The staff especially Pippo made us feel very welcome. The location is just great nestled into the woods. The food restaurant was delicious, always fresh with local ingredients. I cannot recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back!

Giuseppe and Valentina are amazing hosts. The property is beautifully designed and built. With a welcoming courtyard to mingle with other guest near the fireplace, or to have a cocktail in the great wine cellar. They even found my wife’s lost Diamond earring for us!

This place is Fantastic! it’s so unique in many ways! we were astonished by high standards of finishings and high quality of products! this hotel was created with great love, taste and passion! we will definitely be back and will highly recommend to those who appreciate quality rather than quantity!! perfect getaway from busy city life in a luxury woods house!

The rooms are spacious with very nice decor and attention to detail. The restaurant offers very good food and the tavern is truly unique.The owner is very friendly and he really made our stay one to remember!
