What a gorgeous property!! Perfect walking location to everything. Hugs high ceilings and spacious rooms with a spectacular bathroom and one of the biggest bathtubs ever! Amazingly kind and helpful staff and we even met the owner who has beautifully designed and cared for the property. If we come back to this area, we would ONLY stay here and nowhere else!!

Was reluctant to even go to Cantanzaro, but wow were we wrong! This has been the best out of Venice and Sicily! This place feels more like family, relaxing, friendly, authentic and just left feeling our hearts so full. Our photos of meeting the wonderful people tell it all. This hotel is literally like being home, the staff really made the stay the best. We got the most out of our stay due to the great staff, especially Luca! They were very accommodating, even gave us our family history from the area. They were willing to do research for us! And did! We used one of their recommendations for a private driver, francesco, from the train station and back. They also provided a private day tour, with excellent suggestions , the price here is wow, get way more for your money here. We will be back! The food in this town was the best so far and the location is great. We were able to explore the area and felt completely safe. This place left an imprint on out hearts, and when we return to Italy, we will stay longer here at Altavila. The accommodations were top notch, quality materials in all the facilities and the breakfast was very good. They also give seals if you book directly but also take bookings website Rooms are small but efficient , we fit comfortably, 4 of is in a king size bed with an extra cot. Not really a negative, the place is very well maintained, clean, updated. We visited Cicala and Mancuso Village which was so much fun and cool off in the Forest. Mountains, parks, city, ocean, beach all in one place at awesome prices!!!!

There was a private patio with our room, but it hadn’t been cleaned or prepared at all.
