The hotel spa and communal areas are absolutely stunning. It has a really lovely family-run feel and everyone is super friendly. It’s in a beautiful location and is ideal for visiting different parts of the Dolomites.

The hotel has a new and older building - the rooms in the older part are a little dated in comparison to the new ones which are stunning (we stayed in both).

A modern, spacious hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The indoor spa and pool area were wonderful, as was the outdoor pool. There are lots of cosy relaxation areas indoors and outdoors. Breakfast and dinner were varied and plentiful, and I am pleased we chose the half board option. There is so much to do in the local area. The hotel is ideally situated for walking/hiking and cycling, and the daily hotel newspaper gave ideas for things to do. We had an amazing stay and hope to return soon.

We had a truly dreamy experience at the hotel. From the very first moment we stepped inside, we were amazed by how spotless and impeccably organized everything was. The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of the highlights was the surprise birthday celebration they prepared for me — a thoughtful and memorable touch that made the stay even more special. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a delight. We also enjoyed the spa facilities and the heated pool, which overlooked a phenomenal view — a true feast for the eyes and the soul. The level of service throughout our stay was outstanding. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism, making this one of the most unforgettable hotel experiences we’ve ever had.

Second time staying in the Junior Suite, and wow, again did it deliver. Two years between visits is too much. Still remains one of the best properties my partner and I have ever stayed at. The type of place where the service means they know you need something before you even do. Where nothing is an issue. Where there is ALWAYS a smile. The view from the balcony and jacuzzi remains quite literally, dollar for dollar, some of the best value in continental Europe. For the second time, we 'tried' to see the Dolomites. But alas, again, we spent 4 days inside the grounds of the Kolfuschgerhof. There is no point leaving the oasis. The food & wine available will blow your mind at each meal. If you need to unwind, this is the spot. Impeccable service, impeccable property, impeccable experience.

Literally nothing. There is nothing. You can't find anything wrong with this place if you tried.

We had excellent service throughout the hotel. Our waiter, Nabil, was pleasant and always had our cappuccinos ready in the morning. He also had gluten-free pastries ready on our table every morning, as well as an English newspaper to start the day. Having breakfast included in the morning is a must. Huge variety of food: cold cuts, cheese, eggs, yogurt, cakes, danishes, fresh juice, coffee, tea. Our rental car got stuck in the parking lot due to bad tires, and the hotel staff graciously pushed us out. We also had several questions, which Angelina and Cinzia at the front desk helped us with. We had a lovely sauna-ritual which was a unique and fun way to learn about local culture. The massages were also excellent after a long day of skiing. The food was 5-star quality. The desserts were also divine! And excellent options of celiac travellers. Will definitely be back.

Nothing to dislike! Everything was amazing

The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning! The heated outdoor pool overlooking the mountains and vast greenery feels almost surreal. Our room was spacious, the beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety. Dinner was also of really good quality. The staff were all very helpful, especially the lady manager who gave us great tips for a morning hike in the area. She was incredibly kind when we couldn’t find our car keys, and the reception staff even called the rental companies to help us figure out a backup plan. Thankfully, a kind soul found our keys and brought them to us—with the help of the local police! What a wonderful surprise in Italy. My husband and I truly loved this hotel and had such a memorable stay. Highly recommend—and we’d definitely come back again!

Far from town Room can be larger

Exceptional stay – truly unforgettable! Kolfuschgerhof is like a dream! The hotel is surrounded 360° by breathtaking rock mountains. It truly feels like in heaven. The outdoor swimming pool is incredible, warm, peaceful, and with the most stunning mountain view. The facilities are top-notch, and I especially enjoyed the cozy lounge area, perfect for relaxing. The food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast, with great quality and variety. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape in the mountains. I can’t wait to come back!

The view was spectacular, the location was perfect and the food was outstanding. Pay for the halfboard, it is very much worth it for the price.

At check-in, the staff informed me they only had single rooms in the old building. It was a tiny room with a balcony overlooking the eaves of the roof, without any view of the mountain, absolutely nothing. After some discussions, I received a room in the new building, without a balcony, but the window facing the garden and from where I could see some peaks of mountains. It was an unpleasant discussion, but I appreciated that they took that into account and were flexible in offering me something else so that I could have a pleasant vacation.

The hotel is very lovely - great location, beautiful views, and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were large and luxurious. The spa and pool areas were beautiful. The spa treatments were good, not excellent, but good. Loved the little library and all of the areas to sit by a fire/window, etc. Loved that I had the same table for all the meals.

Of the three meals I had, one of them was a little lacking, but the other two were pretty good. The outdoor pool could've been warmer. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a cold pool or hot jacuzzi, but it was cold out and I wished it was warmer. I wish there were non-feathered pillows available. I didn't call to ask, but I didn't find any in the room. I wish the bartender/cocktail list was a little better. I also wish the bar was more lively, but that's not the hotel's fault that the guests didn't want to hang out at the bar.

Amazing 5 star property, location , excellent food, and incredible staff! This place truly feels like home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The rooms were comfortable, beautifully maintained, and the attention to detail was impeccable. The food was delicious, with a variety of dishes that made every meal enjoyable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, always friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm, home-like atmosphere with top-notch service!
