Nice location, comfortable rooms, good breakfast in a nice setting. We had dinner at La Calce and lunch at Cala Masciola and they were both pleasant.

The dinner at Due Camini was deplorable and spoiled our stay at Borgo Egnazia. They managed to fail all courses, from amuse bouche to desert. It was a painful experience and I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

The place is absolutely stunning. Everything is amazing and so well looked after. We had a fab time at the Autumn Party and the food was delicious!

Only thing that could be better are the pools. They can be very cold in September and it's not fully enjoyable to go in.

Room was clean and tidy, restaurants were fantastic, staff lovely, good room service, pools and staff were excellent, housekeeping very good, great choice of bars and restaurants, staff were very accommodating

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in room, overly expensive tax/shuttle service with no flexibility,

The place was great, what stood out the most was the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff, and the architectural marvel that is the property.

Whilst the Borgo tries to keep children in a certain areas not to “disturb” the childless people, this is often not successful. I think they could try and create a quiet area, where children, loud music and screaming are not allowed. Unfortunately both in Cala Masciola, at the Festa del Borgo and on the trenino to Cala Masciola i had children screaming in my ears, which is not what I was hoping for.

Everything the whole experience is magical and the staff are exceptional with so many personal touches from Mitchel who looked after all our needs and questions, Rosa in the la frasca restaurant who couldn't do enough for us amd always so happy and friendly. Giuseppe who took.the time from.his very busy schedule to listen to our history with Borgo we have been 8 times and got married there and he was touched with our story and love for the place going out his way ro come and see us when he could making is feel special and valued. All these personal touches make this place so unique along with the draw dropping buildings esp the grand entrance and exceptional food, we ate in every restaurant and every meal.was delicious.

Hard to describe the beauty and expanse of the property. Beautifully maintained. The staff were 100% so genuine and helpful. The breakfast was amazing…period! The best I’ve experienced.

I’ve struggled to be critical of this amazing property. That said, the pricing in the restaurants need to be reconsidered. 25 euro for a basic pizza, 30 euro for a club sandwich. Come on. It made us think we were in an airport! Someone should really think how this degrades your brand and reputation.

Staying at Brogo Egnazia was a great experience. The hotel is very, charming, pleasant and beautiful and in a good central point to explore Puglia. One notable differential was the attentive and gentle staff. Apart from solving all questions and appointments in the hotel or aroud the region, our concierge, Michele, even went with us to the hosptial when we needed an overnight after she fell from the bed, we couldnt be more thanful for his precious help. I had never seen such a gentle and high quality treatment from him and also the rest of the staff. We definitely recommend staying in the hotel.

The negative points are minor relative to the whole experience. I would say two less relevant points as: 1) there is not a lot of space in the room for the luggage (We have stayed in a Borgo suite). 2) There could be some indications inside of the hotel. I have lost myself in the premisses for a couple of times, and I have given informations for other "lost"guests too.

It has the „nowhereelse“-vibe, so expect everything to be more than what you usually get in 5 star resorts.

One thing to mention is the two adult pools. We have been twice to Borgo Egnazia, one time in May and now beginning of September. Both pools are unheated and unpleasantly cold. With a 30 Celsius degree air temperature you just not expect a 24 Celsius degree water temperature. None of the guests stayed long in the pools due to the temperature and most of the guests just went in for a dip. We were all discussing it at the pool. I do not expect by a „nowhere else“ retreat hotel to be sent to the indoor or children’s pool that were heated upon our complaint that adult pools were too cold. This is the only negative of Borgo Egnazia and we will go again.

We liked the architecture, the interior decor, the real candles lit every day. The food was very good too and the staff was helpful. We loved also the bartenders and their recommendations. We wish we could have stayed for a longer time.

The place is so big that it could have been of help to receive a small guided tour of all the different spaces. It would be also helpful to put a sign for the entrance and exit doors, for instance it was very tricky to find the door entrance for the gym.

Incredible facilities--pool, restaurants, bars, etc. Staff all amazing and super friendly. Great to have segregated adult and child areas.

Need to have better cooling in guest rooms. Staff should not be allowed to adjust thermostat during room cleaning. Thermostat should have capability to be set at guest preference (no restrictions).
