I've visited Italy many times, but this was my first visit to Puglia. I always thought this area south of Bari was "off the beaten track". I was very surprised how attractive it was. The hotel, marketed a 4 star, certainly lived up to that standard. Nice rooms, we had a sea view. Nice breakfast and evening meals available. A lovely refurbished hotel in an excellent sea-side position, a lovely pool, and private landing stage type steps for sea entry. This area is mainly a rocky coastline, and any beaches nearby can be crammed with beach-goers, especially at the weekends. This hotel with all it's facilities offers a peaceful stay and you could stay on site for all of your stay. Having said that, there are places you can visit from here, Lecce, visit the Trulli houses of Alberobello and the rocky beach at Polignano a Mare.

Great location. Lovely pool. Very nice varied breakfast. The young staff at the pool were cheery & helpful. Very close walk to town.

Staff at reception not very welcoming & friendly. The hotel felt quite cold in atmosphere. Rooms small. No complimentary water. I didn't like that you had to buzz at gate every time you came back to the hotel, having left the property.

The location was excellent, wonderful pool facilities and incredible access to the sea. The staff were excellent, from the reception desk, to pool staff and restaurant staff. We were very well taken care of and all requests were met. The restaurant was also very good and we had breakfast, lunch and dinner on different days and my husband, my teenage boys and I loved each meal. Antonio took very good care of us in the restaurant. We loved the proximity to the village which has wonderful bars, restaurants and a market on one of our days.

The rooms are very basic and the bathrooms (the shower in particular) were very small. The air conditioning was also a little weak, however the sea view was wonderful.

Location was excellent. Our room was smaller than expected but the balcony view was perfect. Staff very responsive to our requests.

Would prefer real glass wear in the room (not plastic) and coat hangers with proper hooks. For a hotel of this calibre these finishing touches are important.

Tea and coffee making facilities in room would have been nice. Room quite small but adequate Breakfast reasonable choice of cereals and cold meats/ cheese but only scrambled egg and bacon as hot choice every day on the 7 day stay. Boiled eggs were cold.

Location was excellent. Great pool, Right on the sea with a beautiful view and seabreeze, short walk to town for dinner at choice of many restaurants, close to visit many hill towns. Great breakfast. Property, pool and rooms were immaculate.

Rooms are very small so hard to open and store luggage. But since we didnt spend alot of time in the room it was ok.

The location is excellent. Our room was with sea view (we had to pay extra charge for that), but it worth, the view was unforgettable. The room was very clean. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is very close to the center of the village with many good places to eat.

The bathroom is very small. Poor Wi-Fi.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, the pool is fab. The hotel is really clean, the room was lovely. Staff are very friendly. Nice breakfast. We ate dinner there one night and it was delicious. Would definitely stay here again!
