Lemon House is truly a gem in Savoca — a sparkling jewel in one of the most charming villages of Sicily. The house itself looks like an elegant English villa, cared for down to the smallest detail, combining refinement, warmth and a sense of “home away from home.” Savoca, with its medieval streets, breathtaking views over the Ionian coast, and history as a filming location of The Godfather, made our stay even more special — and Lemon House is the perfect place to enjoy it all. What makes this place unique, however, is Christel. She is the perfect host, a lady of grace and kindness, with the elegance of another time. Always present but never intrusive, she guided us with precious tips, recommending superb restaurants and wonderful experiences. Thanks to her, we discovered the very best of the area — from unforgettable dinners to breathtaking drives, and even a fantastic cruise that was the highlight of our holiday. Every detail at Lemon House is impeccable: spotlessly clean and beautifully scented rooms, embroidered sheets, the softest bathrobes, and delicious breakfasts served with care. Everything speaks of true passion for hospitality. We could not have imagined a better stay. Christel made us feel not just like guests, but like family. Lemon House exceeded our expectations for a B&B. Christel's attention to detail is unmatched-- every detail is perfect. The house is beautiful and pristine. Our room was well appointed with beautiful linens and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had recently been redone, and was modern and sleek. Lots of hot water with good pressure and a shower that was easy to use (that is not always true today!). Christel set up our tour of Mt. Etna and gave us a personalized itinerary for the day, including dining choices, routing, and attractions we should see. She did the same for our visit to Taormina, and when we left, she provided us with a list of restaurants around the region. Her recommendations were excellent and she did not steer us wrong. Most of all, Christel was extremely kind and welcoming and made us feel at home in her home. I can't say enough about her professionalism. Breakfast was another lovely feature. It is served in a beautiful sun room, is set up impeccably, and she cooks eggs to order. Just perfect.

This was our first visit to Savoca, Italy, and we are more than grateful to the host, Mrs. Christel, for her warm welcome and making us feel like visiting relatives while visiting Sicily. Lemon House has spacious and modern rooms, the bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in, the breakfast buffet has various HOMEMADE spreads and jams (among other things) and the host herself (!) makes you the eggs of your choice (again, several different options you can choose from). Both rooms we had for the stay had an amazing view along with a terrace/balcony you can use to gather your impressions at the end of the day (plus if you have someone in your family who smokes, as I do, they don't have to leave the premises to have a smoke). There's also a private swimming pool in the backyard with lounge chairs and umbrellas to use during the hot days. If you come by car, you can leave it in front of the house—no need to worry about the parking space and safety—always in sight. Last but not least, the famous Bar Vitelli is no more than 5 minutes away, and Mrs. Christel gives you all the needed information/directions and advice on where to go and what to see once you get there. In the end...we thought this would be our first and last visit to Savoca. Boy, were we wrong.

Everything was above all expectations!

10 out of 10! If we could we would give 11. We knew what to expect after reading the reviews but still the whole experience exceeded our expectations. The place was very clean and quiet so we could enjoy the time at the pool and relax in the evenings. The breakfast was diverse and beautifully presented. Every day, Christel, with a smile on her face, offered us coffee or freshly prepared eggs in various styles. She always had time for a small chat, gave us great advices on planning attractions in different cities, and even prepared a list of recommended restaurants! The personal touch and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. That was one of the best hospitality and service we ever experienced!

Everything. Would give an 11 out of 10 if possible. Spotlessly clean throughout. Fabulously comfortable bed. Amazing breakfast. Swimming pool to cool off in after a hot day of sightseeing. Host Crystel and her daughter Emma are so wonderfully attentive and take care of all of your needs. You can feel the love and effort they put in to give you the best time possible. Absolutely Nothing

What a lovely small B&B up in the hill near Savoca. Christelle, the owner, is a perfect host who also could help you with bookings for Etna and sightseeing and route recommendations. The breakfast was amazing with so many tasty items and so nicely set up. Also the room was decorated very stylishly, and it was large and had a nice outside seating area. The swimming pool was very welcome feature on a hot day when we walked to the beach and back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lemon house thanks to Christel’s generous hospitality. She helped us arrange taxis, recommended local restaurants and gave lots of local tips. The house is beautifully decorated and was so relaxing which was just what we were looking for. Breakfast was the perfect balance of homemade treats and cooked food. Thank you!

It’s a little remote so would recommend having a car.

This place has just an incredible atmosphere - a noble combination of luxury and coziness. The room, the house and the whole area are very well maintained, smells nice everywhere, great pool. The breakfast concept also left us impressed. The only thing I would point out is the shower room, which looks a bit dated compared to all the other lustre around you. However, this did not stop us from enjoying our stay and having a great time. Christelle and Emma, you are an incredible family, thank you for your hospitality! :)

An absolutley perfect B&B Hotel for a Sicilian adventure. From initial contact after booking through to departure, Christel has been absolutely fantastic, she is very accommodating and helpful with travel advise for day trips. Each day she would offer suggestions based on what we wanted to, and make any tour and restaurant reservations for us, this was absolutely invaluable to us, saving us so much time and allowing us to pack the most into our one week holiday. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable and wants for nothing. The rooms, decor and facilities are to a very high standard and it is probably the best small B&B hotel that we have ever stayed in, such a first class personal service. The hotel is perfectly placed to explore Toamina, Etna, Savoca, Catania and all of the North Eastern Sicily. Now breakfast each day is something else, an array of choices from Sicilian meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurt, breads etc and you will be even offered eggs of your choice, expertly cooked by Emma the head breakfast chef. Thank you Emma! If you are looking at North East Sicily, we would highly recommend the Lemon House. So do not hesitate to book, you will not be disappointed!
