Great place to stay and visit region. If you are looking for quiet place - you should go to this place. Great, very friendly host! Rooms are quete good, mostly created in good style (with few "new addons"). It's also great place to visit with dogs, they are welcome. What's more, on weekends you can eat great dishes in local restaurant. Overall, good place to visit and rest.

Few things could be changed/added. I'd add kettle to rooms (it would be more confortable to boil water). Mattress in the bed definitely only for people who like soft mattresses. Shower quite small for tall people. All these things are "small", and has not a big influence to total recommendation of this place.

Breakfast available at weekends but upon request during the week. Good breakfast and coffee exceptional. Upon arrival we had welcome drinks and our hosts were charming. We ate dinner both nights and the menu had everything for all tastes - perhaps a grilled meat might be added. Seating locations varied all wonderful areas to sit in outside or inside. Very very relaxed venue and situation. Parking down a small hill so park up first to drop off luggage then go back down hill and park. Our two bed apartment had no lounge but very good for two nights or longer. The lounge was outside in the gardens! Our bathroom window perhaps needs a blind. Visit the local winery Terraquilla fabulous tour with Francesco and tasting with ham/cheese excellent value. Our hosts suggested good restaurants for lunch and nearby Zocca super traditional town.

Beautifully renovated farmhouse in the countryside. Well equiped apartment and spacious enough for two adults and a toddler. The garden was great for relaxing under the trees in the heat or in the evening. The restaurant (open a few days a week) was good as well.

The lack of air conditioning made the apartment very hot. Because of the mosquito nets luckily it was possible to cool it down a bit at night.

Matteo and this girlfriend have done a beautiful job of restoring his grandfather's house. It is stylish and tasteful, and full of original furniture and vintage finds. We were originally in a room next to a couple with a barking dog and Matteo went out of this way to prepare a different room so we could move, even though he was very busy getting ready for dinner. He is a very friendly and kind host and is available for anything you could need. This is a beautiful and restful place with great food and excellant hospitality. A great place to relax with beautiful countryside all around. Very large rooms and comfortable beds. It is only one hour from Bologna.

Very peaceful and quiet. Although dinner was not offered every night of the week, when it was it was superb with excellent food and wine selections and charming service. The area is great for hiking although the weather was not great while we were there so we didn't do as much are we had hoped.

Checkin was not perfect because we had to wait an hour to get noticed. It would have been good to have had a bigger selection of breakfast options including cooked eggs and meats. I would have liked to have more options for sitting and relaxing indoors and out. The only indoor place we had was our bedroom. Because of earlier wet weather the outdoor areas were a bit too wet to make it viable because there was no paving.

This is an utterly beautiful and peaceful location. We were made very welcome and our little extra requests were met with a very helpful response. The buildings are old, beautifully kept and very interesting. The shower is wonderful if rather on the dark side.

The pictures are accurate, but leave out the steps from the door down to the bed, from the bed up to the bathroom. Also, be aware the beams are at around 5'9" or maybe 5' 10" high. If you are taller you are very likely to bang your head. The photos of this room were taken with the door to a connecting apartment open, it gave me (perhaps my fault) a false impression of the space available. We sat out one evening on the garden furniture, but were saddened that some of it is not in a good state of repair.

Matteo and his girlfriend are friendly and caring hosts. The house is beautifully renovated and decorated with style and attention to details. The location is great for hiking and biking. Nature is beautiful. Good restaurants are close (ca 15 minutes to drive).

During out two nights stay, there were festivities taking place and lovely as it is, ear plugs are an absolute must!

The facility could have available coffee, drinks or some snacks for self-service either in the morning or during the day especially on the days the staff is not there. I know there is a coffee machine in the room but it is an Italian style and I am not familiar with it. Otherwise the stay was fantastic. Thank you.

Beautiful location with outstanding view, peaceful and helpful staff.

Be careful with the access road if you have a lower car.

The location was beautiful and very quiet. Matteo was a brilliant host and made us very welcome. The breakfasts were good and the evening meals very good.

A few more wine glasses would have been good. There was no television or fan as advertised but these were not a problem for us.
