When we arrived the hotel was extremely busy - more than we have ever seen. We were given a room that technically had a sea view (leaning out from the balcony) and that was in need of TLC. However we were moved at the first opportunity to a front facing sea view room akin to those we have had in the past (we have visited here many times Pre-covid); which was delightful. It was a pleasure to greet old faces amongst the staff, particularly el capo, still around at 90+! Breakfast is plentiful, and it is quite quirky to grill one's own bacon and eggs - not a problem by any stretch. Top tip: Rooms 111- 117 on the first floor are the best for balcony and sea view! The pool as always is a wonderful suntrap in the afternoon. Sunbeds on the Hotel's allocated beach space are plentiful. once once claimed are labelled for the rest of one's stay - alleviating a scramble for best positioning....

Our first room was tired, but then comparing the price we paid with other hotels nearby it can't really be a moan.

Fantastic location on the beach.

Very authentic design, very friendly, price-quality relation is OK. Location is perfect, swimming pool also. Has a special athmosphere, I like it very much!

The beach.

First, they didnt find my reservation, and then they didn't find my payment,I had to show the bank transfer receipt so I can prove it. the room was awful , clima didn't work,low quality bed, very small shower, old floor and old and broken furniture. Things that u dont see in pictures. The only good thing and the reason why i-m not giving 1 star review it's because after I started complaining a few times, the owner moved us to another 4star hotel for the same money as this one. And i'm greatfull for that but it shouldn't happen. Be honest about what you are selling to people because some of us are working realy hard to enjoy a nice holiday and dont want to waste money on a miserable hotel.

Location with direct access to the beach

We read the other reviews as we chose this hotel but its quality is really poor. It was for sure one of the best hotels ca 60 years ago but for current standards one expect more. One could renovate floor by floor but in this hotel the time stopped many decades ago. If you really dont care where you sleep in what comfort or you want to experience how it was in 50ties.... I can recommend it. But otherwise I would look for something better in this price. We booked on last minute and there were not many options....

Extremely bad and boring. Ended up eating in town.
