We have just returned from one week vacation at Agave in Citta. All our expectations were exceeded. The fantastic women at the reception could not make our stay better, all our wishes were fullfilled and all assistance we asked for was given. Always friendly and smiling. We got a whatsup each day and they were asking if we need something. The pool was great, the hotel was very very clean and the location was in a quite place, but still in the very center of Livorno. If you are looking for an accomodation in Livorno, do not hesitate to book Agave in Citta. Better you do no get.

Absolutely NOTHING to complain about.

Absolutely everything was excelent! Beautiful hotel with all you need - nice and very clean rooms, air conditioning, plenty of space, all equipment, refreshment, pool, gym… Everything pefect to the detail. Very nice and helpful staff - thanks for everything! Excelent breakfast - fresh orange juice, caprese, fresh bread, fruit, …, water during the day. Very good location, close to the main sightseeings, nice restaurants around, but quiet during the night (especially with windows into the courtyard). Bikes for free are perfect and we made a nice trip along the coast. All the design, details and atmosphere was great and we very much enjoyed our 2-nights stay!

The staff was very responsive and friendly. The room was great. The Jacuzzi on the rooftop was super. Location was very good.

Although the staff was very nice and helpful, I would say: - The restaurant recommendation was average. As it was a Saturday night, it would have been great to get a heads up that most restaurants needed a reservation. As a result, we were not able to enjoy the terrace seats and had a very hot indoor meal twice. Food was not representative of delicious Italian cooking. - Although an early morning car was booked, I was given the wrong number. I couldn't get in touch, and called a random number very early in the morning multiple times. Taxi to the port was very expensive for the distance. - The breakfast was not worth the 8 euros in any sense of the word.

We stayed in Livorno for just one night, and this place was so great that we regretted staying for such a short time. Excellent hotel with a fantastic location, perfect both for exploring the city and for ferry travel (very close to the port). We had to get up very early for the ferry, before breakfast service started, so we were provided with a meal to-go, which we could choose from a large menu. The staff was very helpful, there was good communication with them both on-site and before our arrival. If we ever return to Livorno, we will definitely choose this hotel again.

The staff at Agave in Citta are simply amazing, especially Camila who was a dream to communicate with on a number of logistical issues prior, during and after our stay- so friendly, helpful and responsive. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the historical "Little Venice" area of Livorno, just beautiful and we were able to walk everywhere during our stay. Our Junior suite w/balcony was lovely & spacious, some rooms even have their own private jacuzzi! Having a small gym, pool & sauna on-site was also a huge bonus. We will for sure be back, you won't regret staying here!

Everything! Staff, pool, hot tub, sauna, location is beautiful, pizza in the area was lovely, chocolates on the pillows, a choice of drinks in the fridge or wine to purchase, lovely rooms. Most perfect stay before our flight home to end our very busy weekend trip to Pisa and Florence. Very clean and tidy areas. We had the pool vertically to ourselves and was warm and had jets too so it was very relaxing after so much sightseeing.

We had some issues with hot tub heating up and hot water with the shower but I'm sure this was a one off, everyone was so helpful and sorted the issues as soon as they could. Very friendly staff. We literally loved our stay here. Would love to come back. Many thanks

Beautiful tiled & heated swimmingpool, gym with high quality equipment, spacious apartment (2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms one with jacuzzi bath, with living room and balcony enabled us to relax. Balcony overlooked the inner courtyard with plenty of plants hanging from all balconies which was very pretty to look at. Kitchen well equipped there was even a bottle of organic olive oil and coffee machine as well. Very good WiFi and TV has Netflix. Two elevators. Very friendly and helpful receptionists and housekeepers. Everywhere was always super clean. Plants in the lobby & a guest lounge. Beautiful location in the Venice Quarter with canals & boats. Some embassies around the corner. Ab abundance of very good restaurants, shops & Cafes within walking distance. The property is very safe. Front gate is opened with guests key. Everything seems to be designed with the guest’s comfort in mind.

The hotel is very nice and clean with excellent facilities

no parking makes the stay quite streesful because you have to look for a parking each day and then go back to the hotel not knowing if the car is safe. If you park in a long stay parkings there is no way to use the car and drive it anywhere in the time you reserved your place for. This is the ony thing that spoils your stay and for the money you pay for the night at least breakfast should be included.

Our stay was just perfect! We had a big appartment and it was so spacious and clean! My husband just said, that he had the best stay there in a long time! The kitchen was well equipped, the coffee machine was good! And normaly I don´t like capsule coffee. We drank cappuchino every morning and had a nice breakfast prepared in the kitchen. On our porch there was a whirlpool, which was so great and relaxing! The water was very warm and we enjoyed it so much! It was very windy during our stay, but we didn´t care, it was adeventurous :) The bed was absolutly comfy, with the extra blankets and we liked it a lot! The bathroom, especially the shower, was amazing! And if you´re up for a swim you can use the 24/7 pool, which I liked a lot. Agave in Citta is a little bit far away from the train station, when you decide to walk. But if you´re taking the bus (blue or red line) or a taxi it´s easy. The staff was super friendly, we felt very welcome. We even got a cappuchino on the house while waiting for our taxi. If you´re a fish lover, there are good fish restaurants around the corner (for example Osteria della Venezia or Dietro l´Angelo).

There was nothing :) Only the weather, but you can´t control that!

We loved our stay here. Admittedly we were given an upgrade, which was much appreciated as we were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary. The apartment was spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. The swimming pool wasn't huge, but big enough to cool down. It had a lovely ambience. The location was great, in the "Venice" of Livorno and walking distance to great eateries. The breakfast was also good. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The spa in our room did not work, so that was a let-down. Even though we got an upgrade and technically should not have had a spa in our apartment, it was still a disappointment. We were so excited to see the spa and when we filled the tub and pressed the button, it didn't work. I would have been upset, angry even, had we paid for the room with the spa. But instead, I was just a bit deflated that we couldn't have one.
