Everything! Amazing location, superb facilities, incredible service. We came with high expectations, after reading reviews from previous guests, and all those were surpassed. Dino is a star, nothing is too much. Hands down the best experience we have had with any host. The Location is perfect to visit the surrounding area (Matera, Ostuni, Martina Franca, Monopoli, Polignano, Alberobello,...). The accommodation is perfect, with exceptionally kept gardens and pool. The breakfast is a treat every morning, and the homemade meal (and wine) were brilliant, one of the best meals (and we had many), in the region. We couldn't recommend more! PS: we travelled with our kids (6 and 8yo), and they absolutely loved every single moment.

We loved everything!

We had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful trullo. Dino is a fantastic host who truly makes a difference—warm, attentive, and full of local insight. Breakfast was excellent, beautifully prepared with care. We also ordered dinner, and it was a real treat. Dino is a trained patisserie chef, and it shows! The location is ideal: close to charming towns like Alberobello and Locorotondo, and within easy reach of the Adriatic coast's beaches. Be sure to ask Dino for beach recommendations—he knows the best spots. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a unique setting with genuine hospitality.

Best hotels we’ve stayed so far out of 7 hotels this one month trip. Owners very helpful, with everything. Excellent breakfast with so much varieties, fruits mostly grown by owners. Very generous owner, flexible check out time, whatever he doesn’t have at breakfast he will try and find for us. We ate so much very sweet figs from his garden. He also owns a good pizza restaurant. Impressed with his genuine helpful, present attitude to help customers with everything, always smiling in a good mood.

None. Needs a car to stay here, but close to beautiful city only 5 minutes by car.

We loved everthing about Villa Maggi...it simply is truly magical. The queen room with the spa bath was fabulous,plenty of space for our family of 3. The beautiful pool was exceptional,the breakfast was amazing with everything you could possibly want and Dino's free range eggs with cheese are delicious. And the highlight are the hosts Dino and Nada and their lovely friendly mannerly children. They are so genuine,kind,friendly,helpful and attentive, We miss them already and would love to return. You need a car to get to the town but it's literally 5 minutes drive.Locorotondo is so pretty,well worth a visit.

Everything was perfect!!!

Dino & Nada are the most friendliest hosts they make you feel like you have known them forever nothing is to much trouble for them, they provide little touches that make your stay special, Dino’s homemade biscuits are scrumptious , and he makes a lovely cappuccino .Very informative about the surrounding areas and recommendations for where to eat. The rooms are spacious with a big comfortable bed, tea making facilities, fridge and a hairdryer, bath/shower gel ,toothbrushes t,bags, bottled water and pool towels. We have never stayed in an accommodation before that is so clean and well maintained, the surroundings are beautiful, the pool has a jacuzzi installed in it, it is also a natural pool ( no chloride) The breakfast is plentiful cereal , yoghurt, fruit, cheeses, meats, bread scrambled eggs or boiled and the most delicious traditional cakes. You definitely need a car to get around nothing within walking distance, so advice to stock up on some essentials for your fridge just in case you want to stay around the pool all day. Would highly recommend and we would most certainly stay again if we go back to Puglia. Thank you so much

This property is incredibly well looked after. It looks like it’s completely new inside-out with a local charming look of one of the grand houses you see in the Locorotondo area. Waking up every morning to the best breakfast you can find, Dino will remember what you like. It is a very personable relationship with the owners of the property. We loved particularly the pool area of the property. With incredible vistas of the surrounding town where Dino grew up in and amidst well manicured olive trees and veggie patches, you will feel like you found your peace. The rooms are extremely clean and smell so nice !

Amazing host, so accommodating. The property has been in the family for generations and they treat it and its guests with love and care. Breakfasts are fantastic, everything is handmade and the owner is a pastry chef. All products are grown locally. It’s a gem.

Just know that you will need a car to get around. Although I’m not sure you could really see Puglia without a car anyway.

Absolutely nothing!

Everything! It was an amazing experience. Quite a happiness and relax oasis. We loved staying at this Villa, the owners are wonderful italian family, they are "brava famiglia". The pool is amazing, the food was delicious, the room and bathroom clean, modern and very cosy with everything you need. The garden is spectacular, as well as location. I loved that I could buy olive oil, wine and limoncello made by the family from their own harvests.
