Delighted to return again this year to the tranquility of Villa Caramia. II really cant speak highly enough abput it. Spacious, well equipped accommodation, comfortable beds and excellent shower. Kept impeccably clean with fresh towels every day. Breakfast under the vines a great way to start the day. With only 6 rooms, its really peaceful. Lovely pool area and rooftop terrace with views over Locotorondo, where there are a good arange of restaurants, shops and, of course, the Friday market - all only a 15 minute (relatively flat) walk away. Wonderfully looked after by Katia, Assa and all the staff. Also a really good location to visit the surrounding towns of Martina France, Cisternino, Ostuni, Alberobello etc. Grazie mille ciao alla prossima estate

There is nothing not to Like!

We were welcomed by Assa and she showed us around this little paradise and explained all in good English. She is also present in the afternoon around pool area, we found her really really amazing and Katia should keep her. We found the breakfast really good, also beautifully served underneath grape vines. We always took 1 small and 1 typical breakfast and that was more than enough. Katia makes whole breakfast fresh herself including cakes and it varies everyday a little bit. Also loved the focacias with capocolo and straciatella next to the pool, the days that we were both sick the breakfast and a focacia was enough to get us through the days. Katia really does a lot of effort for her guests and tries everything to make you feel home. She doesnt speak English, but we were not bothered by this. We still felt more than welcome and google translate helped us if needed. Villa complex, room, pool etc all is clean and maintained well. Bed is towards hard side which is positive for me. Locorotondo centre is just over 20min easy walk. Station is 5min further. It only gets steaper when entering town. Roads are lit badly by night, so use phone or flashlight for safety. We hope to come back here in the future (in a cooler time).

After such a nice stay with wonderful host Katia and Assa its almost impossible to think of something negative or that annoyed us. If I think hard its maybe the shower cabin that could be bigger. I am over 2 meters tall by the way. My gf wasnt bothered by this. The worst thing was leaving this beautifull place.. Just a comment for those wondering about traffic noise: There is a railtrack closeby but the amount of trains are very low and when at the pool we only heared the bells from the crossing, but not the train itself. Also the amount of traffic on the road next to the villa is very low.

We stayed in one the apartments overlooking the swimming pool and well kept garden with a lovely private patio area. Our apartment with well equipped kitchen and a seating area was very spacious and clean. Homemade breakfast prepared with love was exceptional and must not be missed! Catia was a wonderful, lovely, friendly caring host . We arrived late in the evening she welcomed us with a warm smile. She recommended us nice restaurants and places to visit. We have already missed you and your wonderful hospitality Catia. Grazie mille. Grazie di cuore!..

Nothing to criticise!

All was great, the rooms are spacious and family friendly. We loved the pool especially our kid, it was directly in front of the room. The hotel staff was great, and we’ve met the owner who was supportive. Internet was good, and the room we had had a living room, bathroom and bedroom. Outside of the room, we had dedicated sun beds and outdoor table, where you could enjoy the breakfast infront of the pool. Free and secure parking is available if you have a car.

Hot water pressure was a bit low, but this wasn’t a big issue since hot water was there.

Villa Caramia is set in a quiet location, just a short distance from the beautiful old town of Locorotondo. We stayed in one of three apartments overlooking the swimming pool with a lovely private patio area. To open your doors to an exceptional homemade breakfast served to your patio table in the morning, and to return to this haven of tranquility after a day of sight-seeing was just wonderful. Catia, the host, was always smiling and available to help, but not intrusive. The swimming pool and terrace were an added bonus. Everything was of the highest standard of comfort. We can highly recommend.

The host was so welcoming and offered us welcome drinks and snacks when we arrived, the pool area was lovely and relaxing with sun beds and towels waiting for us each morning. The location was great, we could walk into Locorotondo, which is a beautiful little town, we particularly enjoyed the wine tasting at Sírose vineyard in the town. The apartment was spacious with a lovely terrace.

Nothing really, apart from could have been a few more utensils in the kitchen and a kettle, had to boil water on the hob.

Everything! Villa Caramia is an exceptional property. We had the best holiday with our baby there. The pool is stunning and the beds are so comfortable. The apartment is also so spacious. The staff were so accommodating and nothing was too much to ask. Also the breakfast was to die for!!

We travelled with a young baby which meant walking into town was difficult for us as it’s a 15-20 min walk on roads with no footpaths however if you didn’t have kids it would be totally fine!

Everything! One of the most nice and clean hotels we have been in Italy. Personnel, room,pool. All a big 10! Location very central and 1 km away from locorotondo with nice restaurants. We had appartment “Ulivo”. There are three appts with poolview. Others even beautifull but around the corner. Can absolutely advise Caramia!

There was no reataurant in evenings but understandable with such small hotel and locorotondo so close.

Fell totally in love with Villa Caramia. It was beautiful, comfortable, spotless & peaceful. The staff were absolutely gorgeous. We had a wonderful week visiting all the beautiful towns in the area. Coming back to Villa Caramia to rest and relax after so much walking was a joy. Would highly recommend.

Only one tiny thing, would have preferred a shower in our room. Not a big fan of a bath.

Modern spacious accommodation, impeccably maintained in a marvellous location 15 mins to beautiful Locorotondo. Delightful pool area and staff who are really committed to ensuring you have the best stay. Special shout out to Katya and Fabiana, but all could not have been more welcoming. As others have noted, breakfast on your terrace every morning is a delight. I'm not going to repeat everything all the other reviews say, as they are all true ! This really is a delightful place for a beautiful stay. Thank you all

Just to prove that everything you read on the Internet isn't true - if you read the "small print" it says bed linen and towels are available at extra cost. That's nonsense, we had clean towels every day in the room, clean towels on the sunloungers every day and beds changed regularly.
