We had a truly wonderful stay at Francesca’s trullo in Locorotondo. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The rooms are beautifully maintained, clean, and full of charm, staying true to the authentic character of a traditional trullo while offering all modern comforts. The entire property is aesthetically stunning — a peaceful and tasteful oasis surrounded by nature. The breakfast was a highlight every morning: fresh, delicious, and prepared with care. Whether enjoyed on the terrace or near the pool, it was the perfect start to the day. The pool area is immaculate and incredibly relaxing — ideal for cooling off and unwinding after a day of exploring the region. Above all, Francesca is an outstanding host. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, she made us feel right at home. Her recommendations and attention to detail truly elevated our experience.

We’ve had an excellent time! The location is authentic and gorgeous, keeping the typical architecture and design with great attention to detail, while ensuring all the comfort. Francesca is an amazing host, going above & beyond to make you feel welcome. The owners’ passion for the place and for providing an authentic experience is visible in every detail. Beyond its unique charm, the location is a close drive away to main spots like Alberobello, Polignano a mare and less than one hour away from great beaches and other historical towns and picturesque spots.

One of the best stay ever for us. We arrived here slightly later and was greeted by the most wonderful host Francesca! Love the pool and all the fruit and olive trees she have! Francesca received us warmly and openly like a true Southern Italian. Her breakfast offer is a spread of delight. Almost every single dish is her own handmade version of a Southern Italian touch, with some fruits hand grown from her own garden. We stayed in her Trulli outpost, the only one that she has and her living quarters were built around the Trulli. So this is a first for me. :)

Francesca was an exceptional host. Her daily homemade breakfasts were a real highlight—fresh, delicious, and made with ingredients from her own garden. She went above and beyond to make our stay special, offering wonderful recommendations for lunch and dinner, as well as great tips on places to visit throughout Puglia. Her warmth and local knowledge truly made the experience unforgettable.

This beautiful masseria became our home for 5 nights, and what a home! Entering its gates leads you down a groomed path of intoxicating lavender bushes and the property's own orchard, only to reveal the beautiful trulli. When I tell you we've never seen this many butterflies..! Make sure to explore the grounds, every little corner is a picturesque, stylish gem. We woke up every morning with a big smile, knowing we're about to be treated to an indulgent, homemade breakfast lovingly prepared by our wonderful host Francesca, before setting out to explore magical Puglia. Francesca was incredibly welcoming, and went above and beyond to assist in anything we needed - from local recommendations to packing delicious brekkies to go on the morning of our departure. Conveniently located near Locorotondo, Cisternino, Alberobello, Ostuni, even Matera - we set out each day knowing we're coming home to a perfect night's sleep (with excellent A/C!). We absolutely LOVED our stay in Francesca’s beautiful place. Super stylish, comfy, clean, quiet and beautiful - this place is a piece of Heaven! Plus Francesca makes you feel at home. Every morning she is preparing a lovely breakfast, with fresh juice and homemade cakes and she will give you lots of local tips. The room is very comfy, the bathroom modern and the pool area & garden just stunning! Everything is decorated and just soooo pretty to look at. Location is great, only a few minutes by car from Locorotondo and approx. 15 mins to the other towns. There are also 2 bikes you can borrow - we had a lovely bike ride one morning and picked some fresh figs and enjoyed the many trulli you can find close by. We hope to be back soon! The grounds are beautiful, the buildings are lovingly and tastefully renovated (and extremely well maintained), and hosts Francesca and Marco make you feel like family. We did very little planning prior to embarking on our trip, but Francesca rescued us daily with advice on what to do, where to swim, what to eat, etc. - without ever making us feel like we were being a bother. Breakfast (made daily from produce from Pietra Pesara) was fresh, healthy and delicious. The location is also a perfect launching spot to explore Apulia's interior while being accessible to the beach on both the Adriaric and Ionian sides. We stayed in what I believe was the smallest room, but it was more than adequate for two adults and a toddler given the small, adjacent "antechamber" and utterly charming private garden.

We had a fantastic stay at Pietra Pesara with our mum and family from Canada. Our host, Francesca, was delightful and took care of every detail. The accommodation was immaculate, and Francesca's freshly prepared breakfast was exceptional. The traditional rooms were stunning, with perfect attention to detail in the decor. The pool and garden were beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings. The suggestions for dinner were great too! A big thank you to Francesca, Marco, and Niccolò—we look forward to visiting again soon!

Having to leave after 3 days.

We had an incredible journey at Pietra Pesara! We planned our trip in Puglia at the end of our honey moon, and we could not dream of a better place. The location is perfect, close of many points of interest in Puglia. The renovated Trulli and the house are beyond charming, everything is here for you to spend a dreaming holidays. The room we had was very spacious with a private garden, in a addition of a free access to the swimling pool and the beautiful property. Very clean and very well equipped, nothing was missing. Most of all, we really thank Francesca for her warm welcome, her amazing breakfast with fresh and biological products from the garden and for her kindness and availability for recommandations. Thank you so much for having welcomed us so well in your paradise, we appreciated it to the most!

The authenticity and hospitality of here is outstanding. Owners Francesca and Marco pour their hearts into this place and it shows! She touches base prior to arrival, makes sure the room/amenities are ready, explains everything about their property, what to do in the area, where to go, dine, and was happy to make our dinner reservations. Francesca makes most of the breakfast items herself. The room where it’s served used to be a stable, now a lovely eating space (pictured). The end-of-season fresh peaches were the best ever!
