We liked everything. We have been traveling around the world for 20 years, and this place is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The welcome from Francesca and Fillipo was very easy and with a wonderful atmosphere. The house is a gem, full of details (Francesca has an exquisite taste), the room was perfect for us, very clean, a comfortable mattress, and a huge and well designed bathroom with everything you need. AC SO IF YOU GO IN SUMMER YOU WILL REALLY APPRECIATE. You will be in the countryside, so be ready for insects. They have mosquiyo nets in all their balconies and windows. Also our room had a balcony. Outside, the garden was full of lavander plants, sage, rosemary, lemon tree, 100 olive trees, and a small and perfect gardening with vegetables. If you have time, do not forget to enjoy the hot tub with a glass of wine and the precious location. Read a book on the vintage, beautiful environment. Prepare for Francesca and Fillipo with love just for you. BREAKFAST: I can not express the experience that we have with Francesca and Fillipo homemade breakfast. Let me tell you everything: Baked eggs with local garlic and sauce. Cheese and speck, focaccia, quiche with zucchini and mozzarella, pastry of apricot and cheese, cupcakes, Lemmon cookies, blueberries and blackberries ricotta cake, fresh berries juice, coffee, bruscheta of tomato basil and olive oil (produced from their land), orange jam, I am sure I am missing something...of course the chocolate cookies in our room with a welcome envelope with beautiful recommendations and gifts. Check pictures below. The house is located only 2 minutes to the small town Lucignano. For us, a treasure town to discover. The small and enchanted small streets are so beautiful. No crowed and with very kind and lovely local people. Francesca and Fillipo share wonderful conversations with us. Everything- location, house and decorations, the food and especially the hosts. It is a great location, very nicely decorated with a great tuscan view from the beautiful garden. The breakfast was amazing in a very cosy atmosphere. Francesca and Filippo are amazing hosts, they made us feel very comfortable and welcome. When traveling with a dog it is mostly difficult to get accepted, but here it was not the case, quite the opposite I would say, our dog was more than welcome and received even a small welcome treat. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Thank you both for the great experience. Till next time.

That we only stayed 1 night 😔

We are picky travelers...very picky. We were only staying one night in Lucignano so had low expectations for this place. Well, were we totally wrong. This beautiful place surprised us in such a positive way and was just perfect. The room is adorable. The bathroom is wonderful. The hosts are just amazing. Super quiet, great location and free parking. Plus, the incredible breakfast, served outside with all handmade goodies by the hosts and the hosts' parents, was the best breakfast we had in our 30+ day trip throughout Italy. We will definitely stay here again when we are back to Tuscany. Thank you so, so much.

Fillippo and Fernanda couldn't do enough for us. VERY friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. Beautiful view from our balcony. Magnificent attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. Exceptional choice and spread at breakfast in delightful garden view beautiful views.

Franceska and Filippo were the best hosts we experienced during our trip. We feel unlucky about not having more time to share with them. She took us when we arrived at the bus station and gave a lift in the morning to the train station. Since our train was early in the morning she prepared and packed our breakfast so that we could have a great breakfast while travelling. Hope to see them again.

We stayed at Casa Montalgallo at the end of our journey in Tuscany, and it was the perfect end to our trip since our hosts (Filippo and Francesca) made extensive efforts to accommodate us. The breakfast is rather an experience, according to the way they present and serve it. The room and bathroom were very clean.

Casa Montalgallo and its hosts are amazing, wonderful, and gorgeous! I loved this place and mostly the Host, you guys are great! Every minor detail was considered to make the guest's life comfortable, and the design style of the house amazed me, it made our stay more colorful, Francesca you have good taste, thank you for that! Aaand now the turn of the Breakfast and cappuccino! I'm thrilled by the breakfast and the cappuccino that made Filippo, it was the best one in my entire life, looking forward to trying it again! If you are going to visit the Lucignano, and want to see real Italians, this option is the best one, you would like it! Totally recommend!

There is nothing, I liked everything!

100% to recommend. An unforgetable experience, outstanding. Francesca and Fillipo made us feel incredibly, it was simply wonderful. To start, the location is fantastic, few minutes away from the town on foot, with very beautiful views, to get relax and rest. To continue, the cleanliness and the decoration, 11 points over 10. To finalize, the breakfast. How to describe it? It going to be a bit difficult to do it though some words. You must go and live it by yourself. Everything was home made! The mix among flavours, variety, aromas and abundance, was a party different in every morning. Both sweety and solty food, everything was exceptional. Imagine that, together with a table set with all the details you need to want to be seated there for the entire morning. Francesca and Fillipo, thanks a million! We will recommend you to all our friends, and we will not hesitate in visiting you, whenever we had another chance to go to Toscana. See you soon!

Everything was impressing!

Casa Montalgallo is just outside of Lucignano, a beautiful medieval town. Both Francesca and Filippo came to greet me personally, offered me a welcome drink and did everything to make my stay memorable. In the evening they allowed me to go with them and their family to celebrate the Maggiolata. The room has a nice surprise when you come in and a great view over the valley. Best stay so far in Italy!
