This hotel is a real diamond hidden on the magnificent Elba Island. We spent almost one week there and felt like we were in heaven. The room was beautiful—small but very cozy—with a stunning view directly of the eternal blue sea and green mountains. Every day we got fresh towels and room cleaning. Breakfast was amazing every day, with very tasty coffee served. The staff, the entire personnel, is extremely professional and friendly; they made our stay wonderful and unforgettable. We tried the jacuzzi, swimming pools, the massage (highly recommended!), and enjoyed the special perfumes Acqua Dell'Elba that you can buy at the hotel. But the highlight was the magical dinners and their selection of wines. I highly recommend trying dinners at the Gallo Nero Hotel; you get a new menu each day consisting of starters, a main dish, a side dish, and dessert. We are very grateful for this wonderful time. Nothing. Everything was more than perfect. This place is magical.

The location is perfect if you want relaxation and quiet - the view from our room was terrific - the terrace huge (two sun beds and a table!) and the walk to the beach is fine but the property is not for those with walking issues. Dinner was fabulous - we ate one night there and one night at a small place up the road which was also terrific, but that’s it unless you have a car and can drive. There is a bus service that can take you to other parts of the island which is easy to use - the staff at the hotel drove us to the stop and back which was a huge help. I would definitely recommend this gem if you want seclusion.

Very positive surprise! Lovely hotel! Wonderful location. The „whole hill“ towards the see belongs to the hotel and is arranged as a lovely garden with a lot of places to take a rest and enjoy the view. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Seems to be a family business and they really like to do their job. For a 3* hotel a lot of surprising features: whirlpool which can be rented privately for 40min. Sauna( which I did not use), massage ( which was excellent!) and possible three course dinner every night . Overall really good athmosphere and fantastic location!

Excellent breakfast with an incredible view over the village of Sant'Andrea. We luxuriated in having the sun come over the hills just as we were taking in our first espresso of the day. The grounds are fabulous, with plenty of places to lay out in the sun or have a picnic with roses and cacti abound. The pool is pleasant and there are various relaxation spaces around the main building. Dinners are excellent as well, should you choose to partake. Great service and scrumptious food.

All good, perhaps the room and structure will need a refresh at some point but that’s a minor detail.

Room had a heavy cleaning smell that wasn’t great. We had a balcony/terrace so we opened to doors and let it air out. Could be a problem if you didn’t have that option…

beautiful view, location, great garden and they gave us a stunning room with private patio. also jacuzzi included in price which you can reserve. less than 10 mins to beach, and what a beach it is. food we dont know as we didnt eat there. HIGH on the list of places to go back

The view of the hills and vineyard stretching to the sea from our room was lovely. The staff were friendly and kindly accommodating. Easy parking. stunning gardens with loungers to relax on.

The water mini bar was a bit over priced.
