This was a great hotel just on the edge of the town so ability to park on street right outside for free. It was a 15 minute walk to the Sasi. The host was fantastic gave us a map as soon as we arrived telling us where to go with list of highlights and restaurants. The room was really nice with a comfy bed. Nice bathroom with toiletries. We had the room with the hot tub but we didn't use it. There's a coffee machine and fridge and access to coffee, milk, tea. The breakfast was 2 large croissants each which were so big we took with us. This is a great property highly recommend. It's reasonably priced, very clean, friendly staff and easy parking. Nice decor as well.

No we enjoyed the room.

The breakfast was rich, for one person it was enough to even have lunch from it, too The WiFi worked well, the staff was friendly and the location was great There is air conditioning and a fridge in the room and the room is very big Also free parking in the street was really helpful Everyday I got 2 bottles of water for free which shows that the owners really care for their guests, water is a basic need after all (especially during these hot days)

The bathroom is moldy, especially the shower, under the sink and the wall above the toilet There is a window in the bedroom but it couldn't be opened so no daylight could enter the room

Very well organised and interesting building with curved ceiling typical of the area but with all modern conveniences. Room is spacious with fridge, good size bathroom with shower and bidet.AC works very well and windows have insect netting. Very quiet, bright, clean, modern room, words fail me, it's just great here. Breakfast was a delight with various pastries and lots of good coffee. The hosts have thought of everything and provided information on how to get around the area. Check in can be done with the detailed information given by whatsapp with pictures provided, but we were able to meet the hosts who made us very welcome. Parking is just outside without restrictions. We would have liked to stay longer here but had plans to see other areas. 100% recommend 👌🏽 and we would definitely return here.

Nothing, al was good

This property was fantastic. The location is perfect for exploring both sides of Matera—you can either walk or take a bus to reach the Sassi. Parking is free, and the host, Giuseppe, was incredibly kind, helpful, and always available to answer our questions. The room was very well equipped, and although we were just two people, the breakfast provided could easily have served four. Everything was spotless, and we were genuinely pleased with our stay. I highly recommend this apartment and we’ll definitely be coming back.

The devil hides in the details, and this is a very good example. Our host prepared everything for us. He sent us the directions in advance, also indicating where to park. As we arrived, he gave us suggestions of places to visit, where to eat, what to do. Did I mention that the room was great? A nice bed, a full bathroom, and even a hydromassage bathtub. The breakfast was fantastic, directly from the bakery, and they had drinks at your disposal. Definitely, it was a great experience and an excellent service.

That I didn't stay longer.

It way a perfect stay. Like the town of Matera is out of this world, and the accommodation made our stay even more enjoyable. The host kept in touch with us before our arrival. Once we arived, he welcomed us and gave us useful advice on the tour round the town as well as which restaurants were worth visiting. The room Gas a jacuzzi, which is just awesome. And what is more, our breakfast was delivered rught in fron of our room and it could be eaten in the bed or at the table. The room is also equipped with a coffee maker and a kettle so you can make tea or coffee anytime.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and punctual with the check-in. They gave us a map and explained how to reach all the nearby attractions. They also recommended some great places to eat. In the morning, they brought us fresh croissants, and there was aromatic coffee available at all times – what more could you need for a romantic getaway? The ancient city of Meteora isn’t too far, and we had free parking right in front of the property, so we’re more than satisfied. We’d love to visit again! Thank you!

We chose this property to experience the Sassi type cave living. While this was good, I found it difficult with curve ceiling as I am over 192 cms tall. Everything was clean, tidy and room had large bed and cupboard ( need door handles fitted ) and adjoining ensuite . Small fridge in cupboard . No microwave . Adjoins bedroom was a sitting area , with kettle, etc and the breakfast was delivered each morning - Hot croissants

As mentioned curve ceiling is difficult for tall people.

Easy to find and great to be able to check in early and make the most of our day. Provided with great information and maps for sightseeing, most friendly welcome we have received in Italy for ages. Room as per photos, small but well appointed with comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast arrived 7am of pastries and able to make own coffee with provided pods. Great that we could also store our bicycles by our room.

Conveniently just outside the main area - simple 10 /15 minute walk from the property to the heart of the city. Great style and great facilities. Plenty of free parking around the property. Staff were superb - gave us guides, best viewing points and a what’s app video of directions. Very well thought through accommodation by the hosts
