All the staff so helpful ! We were struggling to get from Bari to Matera as we didn’t have a car and the hotel was quick to help us sort a driver . Thank you ! Staff soo helpful and kind. Grazie Mille .They gave us a big room even though we had booked a smaller one . Fabulous location. Local supermarkets and fruit and vegetable market around the corner . There are stairs to the reception but they kindly carried luggage for us . I would stay here again . Very easy and close to walk to the old town . Matera is amazing! You must go .

The breakfast is just down the road . Very nice place but the only option is croissants and jam/Natela . So if you don’t heat bread etc. there is no other option for a fruit juice etc . But you won’t be short of finding good food in matera … so it was not a problem! And the price was very good for the room so we could complain

Location is excellent, walking distance from the old town, not more then 200-300 m. Simple but tasty breakfast of coffee and croissant out of the facilities included in the price.. Late arrival possible till 23:30. The price is relatively low.

That there wasn't an option to have even a hot coffee/tea when we left early in the second morning, at 6|:30, as there was no personnel and no accommodations to make any.

Very nice staff, they gave very nice tips. The room was big and the shower was good. The location was great. Five minutes walking from the train station and 5 minutes to the city center. Breakfast was in a bar nearby, but we like Italian breakfast (capuccino and croissant)

There was a lot of dust in the furniture of the room, and the pillow cover had a hole.

It’s very well located. The room was very clean. The furniture is quite simple and the decoration is a little bit outdated but this didn’t affected my stay. if you’re looking for design or charm accommodation this is probably not the place for you. however, if you privilege location and good price/quality ratio, I would definitely recommend Albergo Roma. They will give a breakfast voucher to a nearby cafeteria with amazing iced-creams. the breakfast is quite simple - coffee and croissant, but anyway, it’s a nice way to start the day. And if it’s not enough, there’s a supermarket right around the corner.

Location is perfect! 5 minute walk from Matera Centrale train station and to Piazza Vittorio Veneto where you can find the Palombolungo Cistern and one of the best viepoint of the Sassi also the film location for James bond No time to die❤️ Will definitely come back to this hotel. Good value for money.

Pillows need to be replaced but the bed is comfy.

The location is amazing, close to the bus station where we arrived from the Bari airport (700m from the accommodation) and close to the main square with a beutifull view of the cathedral (7 min by walk). It was easy to find as there is a huge sign near the entrance, the reception is on the first floor and both receptionist we met were super friendly and helpful! The room was spacious and had an AC, it was a bit colder during our stay and the kind man at the reception helped us turn it on so it would flow warm air. We had a TV which we didn’t use, a wardrobe with 2 extra warm blankets (more like huge quilts/scarf like blankets) and a hanger for our coats. The bathroom had a clasic WC, bidet and the shower stall was okayish (we are short, so it was a challange to reach the shower head). There was some free soap, shower gel. The room also had a small hairdryer. We had breakfast included. We got vouchers at the reception and walked 20m to the left to a cafe where we got coffee and a tasty croissant (you can choose between plain, chocolate and cream). We had ice cream from the caffe the day before and it was super tasty too.

The croissant and coffe for breakfast is at a cafe next to the hotel and was good. Really friendly staff. They explain what should we visit in Matera and give us a map.

The heat for the conditionat air was working in tge room. You can leave the luggage after the check out.

The staff were very kind. They gave a detailed explanation of the city and allowed us to check in early, which was very helpful. After checking out, we had some time before our bus, and they let us wait in the lobby, which was nice. The breakfast was also delicious!

I turned on the air conditioning, but it was still hot. I guess Matera is just a hot place...

Everything you need for a short stay, the bed was comfortable & room clean, shower was powerful, the location is very close to the centre of Matera, car parking at an additional cost very close by & you get a token for breakfast at a cafe beside the hotel, reception was very informative about the area - very good accommodation for the price

Excellent position, very close to the old town. Small hotel with several rooms but very nice and clean. Reception guy was very kind and helpful providing many useful information. Stairs to the first floor where the rooms are. Rooms are small but it was not a problem for us (one night). Nice supermarket just 20 m behind the hotel.

Free parking in the very narrow side street. We were lucky to find free place on Saturday evening but it took us several minutes to park properly. Breakfast in the nearby caffe (only coffee and croisant).
