Our room was spacious and well appointed. We had a large balcony overlooking the lush back yard of the property. The breakfast area was very tropical and spacious. The quality and variety of food was wonderful. Both husband and wife hosts were very helpful and friendly. Very nice quiet area with a convenient free shuttle bus to take you into town and back. We walked back and forth many times. We loved our stay here.

Loved the quiet location up on the hillside but only minutes from the old town. Bus connection super easy. And the owners recommended 2 different restaurants for locals in their neighborhood that ranked as a couple of the best of our entire 5 week journey! Plus the owners were generally extremely helpful in making sure we enjoyed our stay at their lovely little hotel.

Frankly we loved it all.

I had an exceptional 2-nt. stay at Hotel Annabell. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and hope to do so! The location is great, away from the busy city center but easily accessible by walking there or taking the bus, for which you have a free guest pass to use. The owners are wonderful and are the icing on the cake of this hotel! Such great info provided! The double room used as single was wonderful with a balcony and view of mountains and vineyards. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of food. Nice parking right outside for cars.

A lovely room with a balcony overlooking the mountains. In a quiet neighborhood. Our room had loads of storage space. Susanna and her husband are very nice hosts. We enjoyed having breakfast in the garden.

What a delicious spread, and warm welcome from the owners. I was so happy with my room, comfy and spotlessly clean, with a great view of the garden and mountains. Super stay on all levels. Special thanks to the wonderful welcome from the family owners.

It's very charming, decorated very nicely, sweet dining area. It's good value as it's a quiet small place, very comfortable. There is basically a small garden plot. THe ownders are helpful.

THe pool is definitely indoors, so not actually outdoors. The bus goes in the wrong direction for town.

This a lovely hotel run by a very friendly family. It's a pleasant walk or easy bus ride into the centre of Merano and handy for the botanical gardens too. I particularly enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a lot of walking and watching the sunset from my balcony with a glass of wine from the local winery.

Lovely property with beautiful views of the alps. The location was perfect and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

Peaceful location, large comfortable room with small terrace, good breakfast , public transport close by.
