Great location right next to the old city of Monopoli. We liked our big room with the terrace (sadly because of the weather we couldn't use it). The bathtub was very relaxing with bubbly water. We got our breakfast in the nearby cafe after getting vouchers from the reception, it was quite nice.

The bathtub plug didn't work properly (the knob was loose), the water was running awfuly slow as the main tap wasn't working. The whole place was warm and steamy after bath even after opening the windows (probably ventilation problems). There was a green light on the wall that was turn on whole night (emergency light?), making a room a bit eerie and hard to sleep. The mattress was good, pillows and headrest were pretty uncomfortable.

The suite was lovely and nicely fitted in modern style with high ceiling. Washroom was a decent size although not large for a luxury rated property. Check in and check out were a breeze with Sara messaging us a day before arrival. Location is great, only a short stroll to the lovely old town and all those great dining options. Although only has street parking, both ticketed and free, these were not difficult to find iwhen we returned in the evening. Of course we were there in May so not sure what parking will be like in peak season. The breakfast spread was good with mix of hot and cold, one of the better ones during our trip through Puglia. We would rate this b'fast 2nd out of our 5 B&B locations. And service was cheerful. Monopoli turned out to be a good choice when we were tossing between it, Polignano and Valle d'Itria. We would recommend staying at Monopoli, and staying at 1212 Pirrelli.

Nothing to dislike. Just a note about the high steps in tbe staircases being an old building. And yes no elevators. But a lttle exercise doesn't hurt.

We loved the clean open space and the location of the suite is superb for exploring the city as it is just a short walk from the train station and very close to the main square and the old town which is where we spent most of our days. The host was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

This is a very minor point but the lighting in the main room could have benefitted from having a table or low level lamp away from the bed as the ceiling light was quite bright, and the heights of the mirrors and hooks were all designed for taller guests. The breakfast at the cafe might also not suit everybody - we enjoyed it but could see that the staff there weren't always necessarily pleased to see us, albeit very friendly. The ground floor suite is also a little tucked away and we had no sense of the place or weather outside. These are very small points however as this is an excellent place to stay.

Customer service was amazing. Sara was very warm and friendly and made the stay very pleasant, was one of the nicest staff I’ve experienced in a hotel in a while :) Room was spacious, location was really central between the old town, water and train, and everything was clean and modern with a comfortable bed.

Three of the amenities didn’t work in the room including the fridge and hot water for the bath which is one of the reasons I booked it (so for us wasn’t worth what we spent on the room), we did get offered a new room but it was on the last day and weren’t going to be in the room so there wasn’t a point; breakfast could be improved

Great location - lots of shops/pharmacies nearby and only a 5 minute walk to the harbour, beach and old town. super helpful/friendly staff. We also were able to check in two hours early which was great! Very good communication - the hosts contact you via WhatsApp so you can always ask questions even if they aren’t there.

The breakfast wasn’t great so ended up not going after day 1. We knew the pool/sauna were to be closed during our visit but the fitness studio was also closed due to bad weather. Our room was on the ground floor so was quite dark during the day. Then at night, there were three green lights on the wall that kept the room bright all night - so going to sleep was challenging sometimes.

Central location, Sara at front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, has all the amenities you could need!

we stayed on level 1 and it was quite noisy from the street below, very early in the morning. We were lucky as we had ear plugs it didn’t really effect us too much. There’s a green emergency light that stays on in the bedroom throughout the night and sunlight comes through the curtains bright and early which if you don’t have an eye mask isn’t great!

We loved the location, it was perfect for us, right downtown close to everything, size was also good seeing it had a separate little kitchen area. Staff super friendly, breakfast was yum too!

We absolutely loved everything, the only thing was the street was very noisy and I used ear plugs each night. In saying that we were there over Friday Saturday night so I assume it was noisier being the weekend. Also breakfast is only a small selection but for me it was perfect and delicious. Lastly there are quite a few narrow stairs up to your room if u have a heavy suitcase you will need some muscle:)

We loved the location, super close to shops, lovely restaurants, and the gorgeous seafront and views. It's a lovely little boutique hotel, beautifully kept, well decorated, and very comfortable, if a little quirky!

We found the double staircase a little exhausting! Our bedroom was charming, up on the 1st floor of one set of stairs. And we had a very strange shower up on an elevated level from some steps. Then the breakfast terrace was on the top floor on the second set of stairs - about 3 floors up. So it was up to the room, down to the lobby, and back up 3 floors to breakfast... and down again!

We Loved Everything! Our suite was amazing, beautifully decorated and spacious with a terrace and jacuzzi! The hotel itself was so chic and felt so welcoming, there was a lovely lounge and bar area inside and also beautiful outdoor seating area on the roof terrace! The location was a short walk to the sea and old town of Monopoli! Breakfast on the roof terrace was a great way to start the day too! Sara was so kind and endlessly helpful with everything we asked! She even helped us organise a day trip to and from alberobello! Thank you again! I’d highly recommend Suite 1212 and would love to return one day!
