An Unforgettable Gem – The Best We've Experienced Worldwide! Il Leone Di Mare is hands down the best place not only on the island but also among all the destinations we've visited around the world. We can't recommend it highly enough! Fabrizio and his colleague (apologies for not recalling his name) who served us breakfast are exceptional hosts, offering genuine 5-star hospitality from the heart. The property is beautifully set with a spotless pool, fragrant lemon trees, and the soothing sound of birdsong each morning. It’s incredibly romantic—a perfect haven for relaxation. Just a five-minute walk takes you to the charming Chiaiolella port and beach, where you can enjoy delicious local cuisine and breathtaking sunsets. We absolutely loved staying in this part of the island, where the local community is warm and welcoming. Definitely we want to return. We also visited Ischia island for 1 day but found it too commercial and missing the soul of Procida

That we had to return back to reality

Staff was very helpful and pleasant :) Room was extremely comfy, the only thing was than than the water in the shower hasn't very hot (but it was still okay) :) We loved the atmosphere, and the fact that it was very quite - apart from one evening during football game ;) Breakfasts were good, Italian sweets + ham + cheese + fruits :) Not a lot of sour / salty options, but still pretty nice. Kettle and tea can be found in the rooms. Location was also really nice not far away from cities / restaurants / sites but definitely in quite part of island.

Destination near Naples Airport. All our requirements were met by the bed and breakfast Il Leone Di Mare on the Island of Procida. A sparkling villa with a beautiful garden, full of greenery, lemon trees, a new swimming pool, a bar and a modern white shed where breakfast was served. We also used possibility of having lunch there, and appreciated the poolside service, with drinks, coffee and snacks available from morning till evening. Not only was the first visual impression perfect, but also the attitude of the staff was impeccable. From the first minute after our arrival it was clear that the guests' requests and needs are their priority. GRAZIE Luigi. We rate our stay excellent.

I wish the rooms were better ventilated. Seemed a tad bit moist - but it could just be the air in general, so I cant fault them for it. The pictures of the breakfast were unfortunately overselling the real thing. It was okay, I just wished there had been more fruit and/or maybe some oats. Very cake based - but that is also very italian, so it is to be expected :)

Incredible haven, we did not want to leave and wished we had planned to spend multiple nights here. Check in was lovely, Bruno immediately made us feel welcome and settled. We asked for assistance with dinner reservations, and enjoyed a fantastic dinner at a nearby 'sister' hotel. The pool is gorgeous, the grounds picturesque and tranquil, and the room was comfortable (for three adults and a toddler!) and extremely clean. Breakfast was delightful. We hope to return someday in the future!

Breakfast, room, poolside area and lounges, the pool itself, and the attentiveness of management (Bruno) and staff were impossible to fault. Access by local bus was easy throughout this very special island - the local stop was 20 metres from the front gate. Breakfast (included) was perfect, served in an outdoor gazebo setting, by excellent staff. There was a good range of hot and cold foods, fruit and juices, and the coffee was second-to-none.

There was nothing to dislike - even the weather was perfect.

We booked a room last-minute due to a change of plans and we were so happy! They welcomed us with so much joy and professionalism. The room had everything we required: it is basic, but very clean and equipped and with a spectacular view of the sea. The breakfast was very good, and the service impeccable. The pool was magnificent. Everything was very well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend it. Thank you and see you soon!

The bed and pillows could have been more comfortable. The AC makes quite some noise.

Everything. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and attentive and made us feel very welcome. There are not that many rooms, so there is a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. The pool area is great place to while away an afternnon. The hotel is in a great location on the beautiful island of Procida, a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beaches at the pretty Chiaolella. Highly recommended

There's nothing not to like

Better than large 5-star establishments. Personalized service by young entrepreneurs who love the industry. I've been traveling for about a month straight, and this has a boutique simplicity that most strive for but never reach. Don’t expect perfection; just enjoy great hospitality!

Careful with the cars & bikes on the street

Very cosy and nice place, with very friendly staff. Bruno at the reception managed to explain us everything we can do in Procida and his advises were very useful. The room is very nice, cold enough when it is very warm outside. The swimming pool is relaxing and clean. The breakfast was very tasty with a nice choice between sweets, yogurts and so on

The restaurant was closed for the dinner and the check out time maybe a bit early.
