Fabulous view, great value for money. convenient location, close to the vivid area, but in a quiet neighborhood.Very convenient to come with the car, as there is no problems with finding the parking place. nice friendly staff.

I got the "mountain view" room which actually looks nowhere, to the big rock 1 meter away from the window. I understand that I went for the cheapest options, and that hotel is actually made on the rock, but still :-)

The views of Mount Vesuvius were amazing. The hotel is on a hillside overlooking Naples and a small marina. It is about a 25 minute walk down to the marina and 10 euros for cab ride back. Buses run near hotel. We took cab to the harbor about 20:minutes away to catch hydrofoil to Capri. That is also near the hop on/off buses which gave us a great tour. Stop #4 on blue line goes near the marina down from our hotel. Room as very nice and restaurant in rooftop was very good. Recommend including breakfast. Food at dinner was great. Hated to say goodbye to the very helpful staff.

The hotel is situated up the hill and we loved it! The location is absolute gold - away from the chaos of central Naples and all the traffic. The room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony and the views were amazing. Bathroom looked renovated and loved the mosaic and the glass sink. It was nice to have a fridge in the room. Breakfast was sufficient and lots of choices. The views of Naples and Vesuvius were amazing from there. We were lucky to have window table for the 3 mornings we were there. A lovely touch is a little pool you book for 2h for private use, with amazing views, towels provided and lounging chairs. Staff were all very kind, especially at reception and the gentleman that escorts you to the pool. He was so lovely and kind. They also have parrots outside and as an animal lover, I was a bit concerned about them being in the heat but their cage is situated in a shade and they seem to have fresh water and food provided at all times. They were chirping happily 🩷

The only complaint I have is the towels we got throughout our stay - big holes in one, other smelled of cigarettes and there was a stain on bathmat that was turned the other way around. I understand housekeeping is very under pressure (I worked in cleaning too) but for the price per night that was so disappointing to see...

The views from the lobby, restaurant and terrace were fantastic. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The location, once we had worked out the public transport, we decided was exceptional. Not for anyone with walking difficulties - but we enjoyed using the funicular, finding the railway station and working out the trains to Sorrento and Pompeii. Mergellina is really well connected and we eventually sussed out the trains we needed with a direct, non-stop connection home from Pompeii. Would definitely recommend you stay here for extra comfort, away from the bustle and chaos of the city centre, without compromising your ability to get about affordably. Taxi to the airport was €45 and took about 25 mins on Sunday morning.

Rooms on the back of the hotel have no view - just the wall as it is set into the hillside, so would recommend you request an upgraded room category for the best views, and they would also possibly be quieter. Noise from the street was a bit intrusive at night (although we did keep our window open, for some fresh air, so that was partly our fault!).

We had a slightly cheaper restricted view room which was still lovely straight across to Vesuvius just over the top of the roof of the building in front. Full view would be the floor above us level 3 . BUT the view from the hotels restaurant and terrace on the 4th floor was uninterrupted and the real reason to stay at this hotel or in this part of town.

Location is away from the heart of Naples , in a more up market suburb - hence the great views. But it did mean that its manly residential and once back in the hotel by the evening, not really a choice of other restaurants or cafes near by ( unless you head back down to the port - a 20 min walk , fine going down - tricker coming up) . Their restaurant was lovely but we would have liked to step out.

From the moment we arrived, the location of this hotel didn't disappoint. It was breathtaking. The welcome we received was old school and genuine. A lovely touch was the unexpected room upgrade. The room itself felt magical even under an overcast sky. We couldn't have been happier with the comfortable bed and the generously sized balcony, perfect for soaking in the surroundings. Dining at the hotel restaurant was a real treat. The food was excellent, matched only by the wonderful service. What truly stood out was the staff; they really couldn't do enough. We left with unforgettable memories made, all thanks to this exceptional hotel. We'll be back!!

The staff was very kind. My room was cleaned daily by housekeeping. I was nervous because I went shopping, so I had a lot of bags with luxury items and nothing was bothered or touched. I felt very safe here. The hotel sits on a hill, so an amazing view is offered throughout.

My only complaint is that the walls are very thin. You will hear everything from the rooms next door and in the halls, if you’re a slight sleeper like me that can be distracting. Also, the hotel sits up on a hill, has an amazing view. But you’re not walking distance to the main attractions so I took a lot of taxis, which is very expensive.

AMAZING!! When I come back to Napoli, this will be my hotel! Firstly, I have to mention all the staff… everyone there, was so friendly and helpful!! The front desk, took the time to answer all of my questions (over 6 days, there were a lot) They gave directions and ways to get there, they booked official taxis and said how much it’d roughly cost (so you kind of knew what to expect) The waiters/waitresses always had a smile and you was never left waiting or wanting. The clean down staff, were there every morning… if you wanted them to be and if you didn’t, they never bothered you. Food was great, rooms were clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing!! Secondly, the view… WOW!! I’ll always remember it. The photos just don’t do it justice… it’s unbelievable!! Morning, midday, afternoon and night… it’s just so picturesque!! Genuinely, I can’t fault Hotel Paradiso!! It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in!!

The hotel has the most beautiful view from the restaurant and terrace. The surrounding area is also lovely and has access to the cable car to take you into the main district, where trains are available. I could not speak more highly of the reception staff. They were helpful in every way and I would love to return one day. The hotel, staff and facilities were amazing. Thank you!

Size of the pool was misleading. Only part I was disappointed with.

the scramble egg for breakfast was not runny ,it was to well cooked plug in the room ,one side of the bed was missing a plug ,my wife was struggling to charge her phone should be some shop were you can buy little snack and water the picture on booking .com. hotel is really close to the beach .so I was a bit surprise ,that it was on the hill
