The location is fantastic! Beautiful historical property to which they did a very mindful, yet modern restoration. Loved all the details :) The garden/swimming pool rea/our room had a great view of the old town of Noto. The Relais is easily accessible by car, which makes it perfect if planning to explore the region, as we did.

Lunch and dinner can be enjoyed at the location. However, the quality of the cooking was nothing special and quite pricey. The swimming pool got a bit too busy with kids diving in and playing ball games in it. Since it was not the mood we were expecting, we left for the nearby beaches instead!

Lovely relaxing hotel, very quiet, people very respectful and like minded. Location 5 minutes if that, outside Noto, which was excellent for lunch or dinner options. Room was lovely and modern and big enough for 4 people.

No hangers, no space to store 3 suitcases, so although room is large we did have to live via our cases on the floor which was a bit messy. Rules a little stiff, no external food in rooms/on site which is a lowly extreme with fussy eating children. Staff were ok, always greeted us and served us promptly but didn’t seem overly friendly.

The location was great. The pool with the amazing view of Noto was really great. We really liked the breakfast

There is not enough storage place both in the bathroom and in the room itself

Beautifully located with clean & comfortable rooms. The air conditioning is good & breakfast delicious with plenty of choice. The staff are brilliant: friendly & professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. We arrived very late & were most impressed by the warm welcome at a late hour.

There is no privacy on the balconies for the individual rooms though the view is wonderful.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a variety of fresh, tasty options that made for a great start to each day. The location was also fantastic, nestled in a beautiful natural setting that provided a peaceful and serene environment.

I recently stayed in a room that left much to be desired. The only thing was the high humidity, which created a stuffy and almost oppressive atmosphere. While the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the absence of a window and the excessive humidity were significant downsides.

Beautiful environment, incredible view on Noto, very much Tuscany-like experience. We liked the pool and the peace and quite of the place. The breakfast was served outside, they had a nice offer of food.

The staff wasn’t very helpful, we didn’t receive Basic info like wifi password, where are the breakfast or dinner served, info about the check-out. We also needed to ask for the Deluxe room that we booked specifically, because they offerd us the room that was a downgrade from our booking and not in the price range we paid. The breakfast could use some homemade pastry or baked cakes, some fruits, better variation of cheese. They have a beautiful place with a lot of potential, that they are not using.

This hotel was really good, the location is brilliant to explore the town of Noto. The rooms were large and clean with all the facilities expected. Breakfast was good and it's nice to have the choice to have it in the courtyard or garden.

Only one window in the door to provide light so the room is quite dark. We had informed them that this trip was part of our honeymoon but none of the staff really did anything to make our stay special, there was a mention of trying to get the city tax off but we had to show documentation. The pool is good but a little small for all the people staying. There could have been a better focus on local produce at breakfast, felt like most of the options were bought in. We had an uncomfortable experience of 8 guys sitting around drinking and being very loud directly outside our room on Saturday night - they came back and were loud in the early hours - I think this is a hotel for people wanting to party in Noto on the weekend.

-Staff were all very lovely and accommodating. -The bed and shower were great -The view of noto from the hotel is quite special -the pool really makes the property :)

-charge for bottle water in the room ( it's fine to drink the tap water btw) -small amount of ants and wasps around..bit of a nuisance at breakfast if eating outdoors -taxi charge of €25 to get into Noto, which is only 6 min journey. Make sure you ask beforehand!

Overall we've had a great stay at Relais Terre di Romanello. Great location if you like it calm but close to the city, for us it was the perfect base to explore Noto, Syrakus. Very nice garden & pool area. The new building and rooms are big and modern,, but don't really match the old buildings style

A couple if minor things: Breakfast could be better (selection, eggs usually cold) Bar: Too expensive (Spritz 10€?) Unfortunately the Terrasse does not have a real roof, so they are not usable when it's raining

The location in Val di Noto is just wonderful, and the layout just welcomes you to begin relaxing immediately. There are fabulous views of Noto town from the poolside and the roof terrace, as well as various other parts of the property. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The breakfast has yummy home baked foods, and you'll need to try the local-food dinner service they offer (priced separately) which has delicious produce from nearby. Both meals of which you'll enjoy from the cute garden area underneath the olive tree.
