This hotel has wonderful gardens, lovely pools and lots of places to relax. The nearby little beach is lovely and it’s great that there is a free shuttle there (just a couple of minutes drive down the road). Breakfast was also fantastic - huge variety.

The restaurant had lovely food but service was painfully slow. Also pool service wasn’t great - they could have made a lot more money had staff ventured around the pools every hour to offer drinks - I often had to go and find someone. It would have been far better to include free sun beds at the private beach rather than charging EUR70 a day. Actually the little bay just around the corner was beautiful and free so I wouldn’t waste your money on a sunbed.

Very spacious, clean and beautiful grounds, the staff were always really friendly. The views from the room were beautiful, and the room itself was superb. We enjoyed the facilities (pools, sunbeds, etc) and staff were accommodating when we needed transfer support and any other requests.

While the food at the hotel was really good, it did feel a little overpriced for smaller portions. Location was a bit difficult for us, we didn’t have a car so walking back and forth to Porto San Paolo, or even the beach!, was tiring. Hotel was very accommodating with transfer but it cost €20 to San Paolo one way.. Other alternative is taxis which became quite expensive in the end.

Spacious hotel, friendly staff (thank you Alessia for having taken the initiative to offer us another room because our television was not working), the hotel is very clean, the restaurant deserves its very good reputation, the architecture is in mauresque style, our room was nicely designed, beds were comfortable.

You need a car to reach the hotel, but this is true anyway for a lot of Sardinia, the pools are for relaxing not really for swimming, the breakfast buffet is decent however is not renewed frequently (if you missed something you like for instance, you will have to wait for the next day and wake up earlier), one has to know also that fresh orange juice can be ordered but this is not openly communicated, value-for-money wise it is at the limit I would say.

I recently stayed at Hotel Ollastu in Sardinia and had a great experience overall. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hotel’s restaurant served delicious dinners at very reasonable prices, with a good variety of local dishes. Breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. The only downside was the late check-in time. It would have been more convenient if check-in started at 3 PM rather than 7 PM. Despite that, I highly recommend Hotel Ollastu for anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay in Sardinia. It offers great value, warm hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere.

generous with bathroom necessities and clean towels, lots of sweet gluten free options for breakfast, great tea selection, room being cleaned every day. Gardens and views are stunning, tiny beach with a local restaurant in walking distance.

I had to ask to change my room as I purchased superior room here on Booking.com and was given just standard one. The place is surrounded by flora and so spiders and other bugs do get inside. Poor TV channel options. Need a car to get around which wasn’t a problem for us

We didn’t rent a car during our trip, going to places had to be by car or cycling, while cycling in this heat plus the hill…. You do need a taxi. During the weekend the taxi can increase the price, it should be about 10-15mins drive to the beach, which costs €30 then the taxi driver increases the price to €70. So be prepared.

A very comfortable and friendly place, even though it was very early season, so not everything was fully operational. The local town was about 20 minutes walk away, and there was a nice bar on the marina, which was closer to the hotel

It was a bit remote, so we would probably have been better if we had hired a car.

The park is spectacularly beautiful! The room and bathroom are very nice as well as the main building. The location is convenient. The dinner (4 course meal) was very good.

The breakfast buffet is good, however we would have preferred some dark bread or a wider variety of breads. There was only white bread and various sweet cakes. The breakfast buffet should be replenished better. There were a lot of empty plates although breakfast was far from being over. Great selection of cheeses and teas.

The location was great! The staff were friendly and the room was really nice with comfortable beds and nice sized toilets. There was a really good restaurant nearby too. Enjoyed the jacuzzi here too.

The restaurant was delicious but over priced for dinner. The breakfast staff were also understaffed and not all of them understood English well.

Really good location for those with car. 10 minute drive to all the popular beaches. Perfect Italian style hotel. Jacuzzi, swimming pool are very good! Plenty of space for everyone.

Old style key, no card system, bringing this key with you might get annoying. Egg choice in breakfast, but that can be changed easily. There were few older sofa pillows in kids bed from which got my allergy.
