We recently stayed at Meridiana Bed & Breakfast in Palermo for three nights with our family. We had a very pleasant stay in this small, family-run business, which offers both comfort and warm hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host, Deborah (and her father who we met later), who were very friendly and attentive. They were responsive to our needs and happy to offer local tips and recommendations, which made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable stay. Two of the rooms had outward-facing windows, making them bright and well-ventilated. The inward-facing room was a bit less airy, but still comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well. Each morning began with a standard Italian breakfast with a variety of sweet pastries from a nearby local bakery. We also appreciated having access to the kitchen at all times, for making tea or coffee. Overall, this B&B was a fantastic starting point for our journey through Sicily. The location is relatively central, though it takes about 20 minutes on foot to reach Palermo’s center. We didn’t mind the walk, especially since walking was the only practical option. The only minor downside was parking. If you’re arriving late by car, finding a spot (especially a spot nearby) can be a bit of a challenge. Overall, highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, clean, friendly and comfortable place to stay in Palermo!

I had a pleasant here, and hosts, Deborah, and her father, were attentive, friendly and made me feel very welcome. I also felt very safe as a solo traveller. The rooms are comfortable and clean; there's also access to a small kitchenette, to make tea/coffee or use the microwave. The location is relatively central, though it's about a 20-minute walk to reach the center of the city. There's also access to public transport (buses) close by. Highly recommended if you're looking for somewhere clean, friendly, and comfortable to stay while in Palermo!

The host Debora and her assistant Adelle were very welcoming and kind. They explained everything we needed and wanted to know, including the tips and tricks about the city. Adelle was genuinely kind and attentive, making us feel like at home and like locals :) The property location is great, on a walking distance to the city center and main city atractions. The apartment well equipped, with a cute terrace and it was sparkling clean (cleaning service every day). Highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Palermo.

Some areas of the outside parking are free, but there is almost never free space, and even if there is, the vehicle would be exposed to a high risk of getting scratched or damaged due to the city's driving culture. However, since we didn't want to risk it, we were given an excellent recommendation by Debora to park in a (safe) relatively cheap parking with 24/7 video surveillance.

Deborah and Adella are outstanding. Deborah was immediate in her response to our queries, allowing us to drop our luggage off early, coming to the street to assist with the luggage from the car. Taking time to orientate us and make great suggestions for meals. Adella was a delight at breakfast, her motto "no problem". Both of these woman would do everything they can to assist. The property is spotless, the bathroom and bed excellent. The best property for cleanliness on our 5 week trip. The rooms are not huge but they have organized them so well with multiple spots for your luggage it feels more spacious. Breakfast was better than expected with juices, cereals, toast, yogurts, several fruit options, lovely sweets and Adella makes the best cappucino, so good we had two each morning. We did not find the walk to the Historical Centre a problem. If you have a car to park Meridiana B&B is ideal with lots of free parking on the surrounding streets. Very good value for the quality of the B&B.

Debora was beyond exceptional host, she was extremely kind, helpful and gave us a plenty of advices. She even arranged our breakfast in a way that we could try as many Sicilian specialties. Our room was perfectly clean, spacious, and the location is amazing. It’s only a 10-15min walk down to the centre of Palermo. To sum up, everything was perfect, more than 10/10, we will be back and we will definetely choos Meridiana B&B again.

The most gracious hosts Deborah and Adele. I had a slight medical emergency, Adele made many calls for me, translated and helped me through. Thank you so much Adele. Our room was lovely and immaculate. A safe and good security. We felt very safe. The morning breakfast was the best we had in Sicily. Just a delightful stay in Palermo. Our suite was very modern, very clean, and very comfortable. Great Air conditioning and a really beautiful terrace right outside our room. We had access to coffee and water all day, a cute little community kitchen to bring your dinner home and eat somewhere other than your room. Free parking all around the apartment. We travelled from Reggio Calabria to Catania, Palermo and Messina in Sicily. We co tinies to LaMezia and then Altomondo in Cosenza and finally Rome! Let me tell you. We had the most ultimate experience with Booking.com. There were no disappointments as I experienced with AIRBNB. BUT…. MERIDIANA in Palermo is by far the absolute highlight of our trip when it came to our experience at their B&B. I just don’t know how to express my experience….the service was beyond level 10! If you ever choose to visit Palermo this is an absolute must!!!! I will definelry be returning and recommending this place to my family and friends! Do not consider staying anywhere else. You will not regret it….BELIEVE ME!!!

What is there not to like! Anyone says otherwise they are lying!!!!

The warm welcome from Debora and the nice excellent service and exchanges with Adele at breakfast. The excellent capuccino, local specialties both savoury & sweet and fresh fruit at breakfast. The recommendations for things to do and where to eat. The room was cosy, comfortable and immaculately clean. Everything was new. The location was perfect, only a 15’ walk to the old town and safe & free parking in the street. We would definitely book Meridiana b&b again on a nex visit to Palermo.

We were greeted early by our hosts who offered us complimentary refreshments and excellent recommendations for our travels. The hosts were helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome and at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We were due to leave in the early hours and our host prepared a breakfast for us to have before we left which was very appreciated and a lovely touch. We would highly recommend coming here and we hope to come back. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

We loved everything!

A great little place just outside the main hustle and bustle of Palermo city centre, perfect for access to the sights but without the crowds. Debora was very welcoming and helpful on arrival, and her father Michele and Adele were also super helpful. My partner has an allergy to dairy and Debora's mother made a cake especially for her. Wow! I would highly recommend staying here!

Nothing. The only downside was that we picked up a parking ticket for being half on the pavement (like all the other cars were!). Clearly not the fault of the Meridiana but do watch out if you're planning to drive.
