The property is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, super clean and the common areas are also very well taken care of with everything you need! The terrace is a dream with the view of the cathedral, at night it is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine with the view. But overall, what I liked the most was the treatment from the hosts, they gave us so many tips about Palermo and the surroundings, the breakfast was delicious and the conversation amazing! I can 100% recommend this place for your next stay in Palermo!

The stay was exceptional with all this meanning. The Apartment is very sweet, decorated with the elenents, typically for Sicillly. The whole Property has a big and beatiful Terrace, over Palermo, which is enjoyable for a breakfast or simply to relax it during any time for the day. The Breakfast is very good with a big variety, including tastefull sicily passtry, among the others which makes a good start of a day. Giovanni, and his wife Maria, as well as the the whole staff were ready to help us in any situation, recommending the best Spots,, dishes to try it, aswell giving a tipps for many good places for eating,. The Residence is located very centrally, with the most interesting historical Spots-as well as close to the open markets in Palermo, all of them accessible actually by a shorter walk. We will deffinitelly come again to the Residence Normanna, it is for every recommendation

Three things make this place perfect: the hosts, the terrace and the location. The hosts are ultra-communicative, kind and supportive, the entire staff is excellent and willing to share tips, and help during breakfast. The terrace, like the big living room with couches, is all part of a common area that you can use at all times, this makes breakfast amazing but also a drink and chat in the afternoon or evenings with friends amazing. The location is great because it's right outside the center and the restricted area that you can't access by car, but still free for parking and driving around.

Some rooms heading to the street are noisy because, well, it's south Italy so people are noisy and honk their cars at all times :) The peace of your journey depends a lot by other people renting the other rooms, we were lucky with this but you've to be ready to have people enjoying common areas.

Excellently located B&B within walking distance to a historic town. Amazing terrace in a shared area and a little balcony in a room. Very comfortable well equipped and clean rooms. I asked for a quiet room and l received one. The lovely hosts also accommodated my vegan diet. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quality and within a budget. Brilliant stay.

Although there is an electronic map of the city in the main area which is already great, it would be amazing to have some hard copy maps at hand for the newcomers.

Nice stay in Palermo. Love the breakfast on the lovely terrace with lots of beautiful plants and flowers. The room has a good separate space to put the luggage. The hosts are amazing - Maria is very responsive, it made all the arrangement of our stay easy. The location is walkable to the main attractions, the bus stop and reasonably from the metro that goes to/from the airport and central station/terminal.

Our room is facing the street, so it is a little bit noisier than the rooms facing the back, which are calmer. The accommodation has no elevator. No big issue, as the rooms are on the first floor, so not that many stairs, but good to be prepared.

We had an amazing experience with this stay! The room was comfortable and great size, the property was clean and the staff went above and beyond to support us! They helped with Hints & Tips across the best spots in Palermo. Breakfast was delicious, the bed is super comfortable and its less than 10 minutes walking from the Cathedral! You also have the chance to relax in the amazing balcony, have a coffee or a drink and enjoy a beautiful view!

I did like everything! I would also like to add that the owners helped us with my father health condition and I couldn't be happier with the support that I received. I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in Palermo, you will feel welcomed and have a great experience!

Great location, safe and very close to the Cathedral, which is a must see if you are in Palermo. The rooms and communal space are very modern and clean. The roof terrace is a lovely space to have breakfast in the sunshine (warm enough to do so in early April) with views over the Cathedral dome. We really appreciated the space to come back to and have coffee and cakes during the day after walking round the city. Maria and her husband are great hosts and were very helpful to us during our stay. They catered for me as a gluten free guest for breakfast and the breakfast was lovely.

The entrance hall to the main building is dark and gloomy but don't let that put you off - as soon as you enter Residenza Normanna it is a lovely space.

The location is very central and close everything. We just have to park the car and we forget it to visit all the famous places in Palermo. The owner is very helpful and kind as well the nice girl who is serving the breakfast. The breakfast is very complete and enough. Our room was very well decorated with a taste. It was very quiet and the view on the city perfect. We absolutely recommend this guest house to spend some days in Palermo. Thanks you Giovani for your very kind welcome.

Everything was really perfect. The room was big enough and had very comfy beds. It was clean and air-conditioned and the house was quite near to the main attractions of this amazing city. But above all, the hosts were simply amazing. They were all so very friendly, nice, funny and ready to provide whatever their guests may need. They served an excellent and varied breakfast (even gluten free) on a terrace with a lovely view of the city. It was an extreme pleasure to meet them all. When we return to Palermo, our choice of accommodation is obvious.
