Really beautiful house, great interior and amazing terrace. It is ideally located very close to the centre but also a step away from the train station for any trips around. The place is sparkling clean and kept at a high standard. The outside space is fabulous with a great big terrace where we had breakfast, which was very nice and with lots of variety. Both Fabrizio and Emanuele were excellent hosts, always ready to help and forthcoming and extremely professional at all times. They gave us some very nice restaurant suggestions and overall welcomed us into this beautiful home! Thank you!

This place was an amazing unexpected experience for us! We booked last minute while travelling around south Italy and this stay is the best we have experienced! Fabrizio was very quick and considerable in his communication prior to stay. We arrived earlier than planned and were welcomed in with coffee and refreshments. We got plenty of information about places to see or eat. The room was super nice and all we needed for good sleep: air conditioned, possible to make it dark and completely silent! Everything was super clean. The location is perfect: just steps away from the centre, beach and any shops. And the highlight of it all: amazing breakfast! Lovely hommade jams, bruschettas with freshly picked and self grown tomatoes, fresh fruit and toasts, ricotta, crostata….. you name it! It was all served in our private terrace. By all means most hospitable place we have ever evwr come across in all Italy. So real and sincere. We are definitely to come back here!

Wonderful host, very helpful and made us feel at home. The breakfast was amazing! The place was beautiful and had a private open-air area as well. The furniture was of very high quality and very comfortable. The location is great for visiting the beautiful old town and the beach. Great for families! This was the one place out of all the places we stayed in Italy where it was also very easy to park our car.

This applies to almost all accommodations in Italy - the pillows are huge! I'm used to much smaller and flatter pillows. I ended up taking the decorative pillows from the couch and using those instead.

We were looked after so well. We arrived quite late and it was a little difficult to find as it was almost right on a roundabout and was a grand house rather than a hotel. We were greeted enthusiastically. Car parking was onsite, but a little tricky as it was so close to the roundabout. There were steep stairs leading up from the doorway but we were helped with our bags. We were shown a small breakfast room which looked to have a good range. However we were in the top room which had a terrace on which we were invited to have breakfast the next morning. An offer we couldn't refuse as it was sunny next day. After checking in we had a 5 minute straight walk into the old town where we found one of the restaurants Fabrizio had recommended. So easy. We had an excellent stay, it was very good value.

Steep stairs maybe a problem for some. A bigger sign or information as to where exactly to find the building would be helpful as it was a little difficult to spot.

Excellent stay at MandorleOlio! We felt like at home and didn't want to leave. Fabrizio is an amazing host, gave us a lot of recommendations, and was very attentive and helpful. Breakfast - exceptional, especially croissant and coffee. The place itself is very close to the city centre, and the food shop is 2 minutes away from the property. Private parking is definitely a huge bonus. To sum up: MandorleOlio is a perfect place to stay in Polignano, you will get everything you need and even more!

Definitely one of the best B&B experiences ever. Very cozy room, beautifully furnished, bright, spacious and with access to the terrace. The owners are very nice, the family history goes back 6 generations in this place. Food was delicious and home made. Access to private lockable parking is a big plus. The town itself is one of the most beautiful places we have visited during our travels in Italy.

The only thing that we didn’t like was that we were there only for one night! Everything was exceptional about this place- the location - 3 min walk from the old city and the famous beach Lama monachile; the house - old family house - fully renovated, the room - amazing, but most of all our host, who welcomed us not like guests, but as old friends. He recommended the best places to visit and eat, prepared us home made breakfast and we are really happy that we choose to stay there! Definitely recommend! Thank you Fabrizio!

Our suite couldn't have been better - our own rooftop terrace with sun loungers and a spa pool! Just what was needed at the end of every day of sightseeing and general holidaying! Fabrizio could not have been more helpful if he tried - from collecting us from the train to chasing around and booking us tours, he and his family could have done no more! If ever we make it back to Polignano a Mare we will be calling Fabrizio!

It is a family owned and run establishment. The brothers who run it are very helpful and attentive. We loved staying here and did not want to leave. The breakfasts are are locally sourced and some of the items are made on site. The location is quiet and away from the main center. Everything is immaculately clean. I would highly recommend staying here. The rooftop terrace is unbelievably beautiful…it is also where you have breakfast each morning.

At first I thought the location was inconvenient but it turned out to be great. Not far to get to all the attractions.

Fabrizio is an amazing host who was super helpful even before we stayed at his wonderful apartment. We were travelling from Alberobello and were struggling to find a taxi/ make travel plans to Polignano from there. Fabrizio sorted all that, asking his friend to be engaged as our cab driver. He was super helpful later even dropping us off to the nearby train station early in the morning before his work shift that was so generous and kind of him. The place is super nice, beautiful, clean and so special. It is part of Fabrizio's home so it was a privilege to share that space for the duration of our holiday there. The apartment was big enough for the 3 of us, had a huge wardrobe, luggage area, amazing bathroom, and very cool, given the July heatwave when we were there. The best bit was that we were right next to the small kitchen, where there was fridge, coffee machine and loads of biscuits/ cakes if you so felt like it. The breakfast was so lovely too, with all the personal touches. We can't recommend this place enough and wish all hosts were as helpful and kind as Fabrizio.
