What a perfect location in Ragusa Ibla! The owner, Michele, and Niccolo were fabulous hosts. We stayed in the room with attached deck that provided an incredible view of new Ragusa. Outside stairs lead up to a rooftop deck which provides sweeping views of the area including the Duomo. The property has an outside pool and lots of orange and lemon trees. Michele provided perfect driving directions to help us wind our way to the B&B and met us outside to help us with parking. The room was good-sized with views of new Ragusa through the windows. Breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice and pastries. There was a new cake each morning, baked by Michele's sister. We signed up for a cooking lesson with Michele and had an enjoyable time making Sciacca Ragusana, a Sicilian specialty. The experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The B&B is perfectly located to walk through Ragusa Ibla and new Ragusa. You won't regret staying with Michele.

Location was fantastic, within 5 minutes walk from everything you would want to explore in Ragusa Ibla. We rented a car and it was also not far from a number of other towns to visit. Breakfast was very nice, freshly squeezed orange juice to order, cereal, fruits, pastries etc. The view over Ragusa was stunning from the quaint hotel garden that was perfect for lounging and reading. The staff were fantastic, Michele was friendly, on hand to help, and had great recommendations for places to explore.

Not much to complain about honestly.

The hotel is small but very well equipped with a small swimming pool and garden with amazing views to the west over Ragusa Superiore. Rooms are functional and comfortable, and very clean. The staff are very friendly and gives you good advice on what to visit if needed. Pay attention to their indication on how to drive up to the hotel to avoid ZTL and especially the narrowest streets. Ask also how it's the way out because it's slightly different. Also ask where to park. The location is ideal if you don't mind the driving in narrow streets (very manageable), because it's a few minutes away from il Duomo di San Giorgio and the Centro storico di Ragusa Ibla. Very charming city, full of bars abd restaurants, a few Michelin starred ones, bib gourmands and recommended ones. It's not far from Modica, Scicli, Palazzolo Acreide, etc which are also worth visiting to admire the tardo barroco. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Everything about this hotel was superlative. Fantastic, large rooms: ours had a private deck overlooking the valley and the hotel swimming pool, as well as a double jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Spotless hotel. A five minute walk down to the Piazza del Duomo and farther on, to a lovely public garden with views. Many restaurants close by. Pleasant breakfast with home-baked goods, eggs on request, juices, fruits and excellent coffee. Charming town. Our two-night stay was flawless, thanks to our host, Michele.

The main hotel area has stunning gardens and a fabulous pool. The rooms are clean and minimalist but still with wonderful character. The 2 bedroom/2 bathroom family room was lovely though not a huge amount of airflow. The breakfast, included in our stay, was delicious and mostly made in-house so very fresh. The bathrooms were very spacious with good water pressure in the showers. Fabulous location for exploring Ibla eith the option of getting away from it all in the garden or pool, overlooking the mountains.

The family room was just outside of the main hotel complex, down some outdoor stairs. The stairs were fine (you don't go to Ragusa if you can't do stairs) but this was a bit painful when we had to bring our suitcases up on checkout. The staff are very helpful though so you can always ask for assistance.

Great location in old Ragusa, fantastic breakfast, nice staff, clean room. Pool looked nice although we didn't use it. Due to car trouble, we arrived past check-in time and staff accommodated our late arrival.

No hot water when we arrived about 9:00 pm and still not available when we woke up the next morning. We were told at breakfast that the problem had just been fixed and the water would be available soon. Unfortunately, we could not wait and had to leave after breakfast without a shower.

Our stay at Giardino Sul Duomo was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the location could not have been better to explore Ragusa. But the best was the incredibly help we got from the management of the hotel. We had an issue with our rental car and he helped us tremendously in sorting out a replacement, helping us to communicate to the rental car agency and manage logistics. It would have been a difficult issue to resolve without his help. We loved our stay and were so appreciative of the help we received!

One of the first things about Giardino sul Duomo that we noticed was the glorious scent of the flowers that greeted us every time we entered the property or sat in the gardens. The pool was perfect for cooling off after a hot day's exploring Ragusa and nearby Modica and the view from the garden beside the pool is wonderful. The property could not be more convenient for accessing Piazza Duomo and Michele was really helpful in arranging taxis for us when we needed them, allowing us to leave our luggage after check out until we left to catch our bus, etc. Breakfast was plentiful and I can particularly recommend the scrambled eggs and fresh fruit.

Nothing. We weren't driving at all, but the streets around Ragusa Ibla - the old town - are very narrow and winding so even pedestrians need to be careful when out and about exploring this fabulous place.

Delicious breakfast. Beautiful view from the pool. Helpful staff. Veryyyy comfortable and large beds. SWell appointed room, spare pillows, drinks and water in the fridge - essential in the heat. Well located in Ragusa, right at the top of town near a large public carpark.

Our room had a small high level window - which didn't allow a view. The entrance lobby to the room and adjacent room was very loud - so we could hear our neighbours arriving and leaving.

We LOVED everything. It was just a dream. The room was large and clean with a very large sized adjoining bath that held a shower and a large jacuzzi. The courtyard with the pool had the most mesmerizing view that I would frequently look out over and have to pinch myself to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. Niccolo and Michele were so accommodating and kind. The breakfast each morning was delicious. It spoiled me to eat cake each morning! There is nothing I would change other than the drive to get there. There is one spot in particular that is super narrow so a smaller car might be better. We made it though and by Italian standards (that I now see )after traveling to Taormina and Catonia, that little blip in the drive was nothing. Italy is a challenging place to drive if you want to see the most beautiful sites. Guarding Sul Duomo is so worth it. We can’t wait to come back.
