Casa California is pure Sicilian magic! We stayed here during our family vacation, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Carmelo, the owner, goes above and beyond, he’s warm, welcoming, and always ready with amazing local recommendations. You can tell right away he truly cares about his guests. Nina, the cook and housekeeper, is equally wonderful. Her cooking is unforgettable and she makes you feel like you’re part of the family. The property itself is cozy, spotless, and full of character. From the peaceful atmosphere to the thoughtful little touches, everything about Casa California made us feel comfortable and at home. If you’re traveling from North America and looking for a truly authentic, heartwarming Sicilian experience, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back. Grazie mille, Carmelo and Nina!

Wonderful. We would definitely come back. Carmelo’s place is a gem, fantastic view, pool and vibes. Carmelo welcomes you in person and is around to help you with everything. We stayed here 3 nights in rooms Prince (having a balcony) and Janis Joplin (for our 2 teenagers). Rooms have everything you need (good a/c), new bathroom with shower, and breakfast is great (including eggs and coffee the way you want prepared by Nina). Nice beaches nearby. We didn’t want to leave… It was definitively our best stay during our 2 weeks roadtrip in Sicily and all of our other European road trips.

Casa California was clean and modern, the swimming pool was lovely and loved by our little girl! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating of our almost 2year old, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and fresh every day. - the fresh eggs every morning were to die for. We were in Sicily and this region for a wedding and this location was exceptionally convenient for attending the wedding and we also took the opportunity to explore the beautiful beaches and valley of temples which is situated nearby. The island is stunning! Before the wedding, Carmello helped me arrange a hairdresser to come to our room and a nail appointment so I could go to the wedding feeling extra pampered. Carmello cooked for us one night and it was absolutely delicious. He is an amazing cook! Thank you for a wonderful stay at Casa California! 💛 10/10 exceptional!

We had the most wonderful, relaxing 2 days in Casa California. The room was spacious and clean and the view from the balcony spectacular. Carmelo was an excellent host and his tips for the area were spot on. The beaches are some of the best we’ve ever been on and the location is great for visiting Agrigento and the nearby tourist hot spots. We were really sorry to have to leave. Thank you Carmelo and Nina for taking such good care of us.

Sarah and Carmelo are the most amazing and kindest people you can meet in Sicily (and in your life) ❤️ words can't express how grateful I am to have met them on my journey. Their house is beautiful, super clean and comfortable, and all the food they prepared for us was simply perfect. Our stay at Casa California was, in one word, PERFECT. The location was perfect 1km from the beach. Peaceful place and 30 min from SanLeone where there is some action at night. 20 min from Scala dei Turchi. And from the Valley of the temples. Loved my stay would go back

The owners Carmelo and Sarah are incredible hosts. Their attention to detail is above what anyone would ever expect for this fine fully renovated B&B. Their hospitality is unbelievable and much appreciated. The property is an absolute gem. I recommend you stay here to appreciate high end hospitality in a Sicilian beautiful setting close to many attractions and beaches. Grazie!

Nothing to dislike! The property and the hosts are absolutely the best.

The hotel was outside the city centre with stunning views from the terrace. It had a pool and a private car park. Our room was spacious, light and extremely quiet. Staff very friendly - they deserve a medal! Brilliant and plentiful breakfast.

We felt like we had arrived at an oasis. Such a beautiful way to start our holiday. Sarah and Carmelo were fantastic hosts and the dinner we had on the second evening could not be topped anywhere else on our holiday! Thank you so much, we hope to back again soon

Everything was perfect and carmelo was an amazing host. It is a place (and host) that you instantly will fall in love with and that you never want to leave. Make sure to ask carmelo to cook for you when you are there, the food is out of this world.
