The property is beautiful! It’s pristine and has the old world charm of the original building and Sicilian architecture. The rooms are lovely - bright and comfortable and immaculately clean. The staff were amazing! So helpful with any request we had - they helped us get a driver each time we needed one, they served us a great snack when we arrived between lunch and dinner and gave us a tour of the hotel and took us up to see the view at the top of the watch tower. The food was excellent! Breakfast in the morning was served as an elegant buffet in the dining room that is surrounded by windows for a beautiful view and start to your day. The food was so fresh and delicious and included fresh squeezed juices , and plenty of vegetarian options (for me) and non-veg (for my fiancée). Dinner is served in their beautiful gardens with lovely music playing in the background. We were definitely spoiled during our stay !

Everything was great

This hotel is so beautiful and quaint. It has a lovely indoor bar and saloon. Breakfast was very good a large selection of cold cuts, pastries and fruits plus more. Breakfast is inside with lovely views and bright which is ideal when so hot. Outside there are beautiful gardens with seating to relax in the sun or in the shade. Also a spa pool with sun chairs which is a nice surprise. Dinner in the evening is on the terrace overlooking the garden and the views of the ancient monuments, spectacular. The food was some of the best we have eaten in Sicily. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. If you go you must stay at least two nights to enjoy all on offer.

The hotel was exceptionally lovely. The setting and gardens were just beautiful. We had a room with a balcony and had a view of the Temples. Breakfast was continental with an array of choices. The Restaurant served lovely food on the outside patio which was amazing overlooking the view at night. Pity they don’t offer a simple lunch such as a panini only restaurant menu which was lovely but sometimes a roll and a drink by their spa/pool would be nice. They did however organise some bread which sufficed and a spritz which we thoroughly enjoyed

First night our shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. However the staff were up with a mop and bucket within minutes of us calling. We tilted the shower head further back which helped the situation.

The location is beautiful near the Valley of the Temples, we could see a couple of temples from our room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The restaurant is great: you have amazing views of the temples and it has very innovative food, and super nice waiting staff. The breakfast (included in the room price) was also great with the views and a very rich and delicious spread of options for food. Very complete. One of the hostesses offered to show us up the watch tower after breakfast and the view was spectacular: she was really nice. The garden is amazing.

We requested a twin at check-in and the manager did not accommodate us saying there was no staff. A four star hotel would have done the impossible to fix it. In fact the double bed was actually two different beds, so they could have been separated, if they had provided separate bedlinen. That was disappointing. The decor is a bit kitsch, could have been made with more taste. The windows are small in all the rooms, so it's a pity that the views are not well utilized, but I guess that must be appreciated in the summer when it's very hot.

A stunning location with a breathtaking view of the ancient Acropolis makes this stay truly special. The garden is beautiful—lush, carefully maintained, and full of charm. The villa itself is gorgeous, well-kept, and full of character. Everything radiates peace, beauty, and authentic charm—an ideal place to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended! The staff, unfortunately, felt rather stiff and uninspired, which didn’t quite match the warm and inviting atmosphere of the villa itself. Breakfast was very modest—not necessarily a problem, as it had an authentic touch—but by 9:30 most of the items were already gone, even though breakfast is served until 10. The food that was available was tasty, but overall, the value didn’t quite match the experience. A beautiful setting, but some improvements are needed to truly live up to its potential.

First of all, the staff could not have been more friendly, proactive, and helpful. The historic property is beautifully maintained, and the large outdoor areas are perfectly manicured. The dining area looks over the valley and onto the water, making for stunning views. Having dinner at their restaurant was the right choice—excellent local cuisine, impeccable service.

The rooms need some updating. While absolutely clean, the bedding covers and side tables were old/old-fashioned. The bathrooms got a spiffy update—just gotta work on the decor and beds!

The grounds of the hotel are amazing! The fruit and olive trees and the flowers evoke a feeling of an Italian villa from a bygone era. The bar and restaurant are in the same building as an old watchtower and is very picturesque. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was a wonderful spread with cheerful wait staff.

We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. It had a very stuffy atmosphere with a somewhat judgy waiter who wasn't pleased that we wanted a lighter meal without indulging in 4 full courses. There was also no vegetarian option except for one dish in the whole entire menu. For a place that prides itself as a gastronomical destination, this was quite strange. The overall atmosphere of the hotel seems to suggest that they cater to an older clientele who enjoy outdated pomposity.

This is a beautiful historic property with views across to the Valley of the Temples. The buildings are beautiful and the gardens and terraces completely stunning. Breakfast, served in a lovely room, is fresh, tasty and nicely presented.

It's hard to quibble in such a beautiful place but the only thing that could be better are the chairs in the outside areas which are not very comfortable, particularly the loungers around the small spa pool.

The best breakfast spread in a spacious roo m with sea views. Easy access to the Valley of the Temples which can be seen from the Baglio. Charming helpful staff who want to please.
